I donated, but not because it was the "cool thing to do" or because there were Canadians over there... I donated because millions of people died/will die. And every day I am thankful that I am not one of them. Whenever someone mentions now many North American's died, I remind them of how many of the native people died there. and how many are GOING to die from disease. It's staggering and sickening to think... not many things can make me cry, but this is one of them that did. and I too, didn't hear about the earthquake in Iran until just recently...

;) jennzebel I love your avatar! just to be "on topic", i will state again that i loved this movie. and yes, throughout the movie, i too was in awe at the soundtrack to it. it is VERY RARE that i will love all the music in a movie. i really don't recall not liking any of it. and amazingly the actual soundtrack IS the music from the movie! (it's happened before.. all the good music in the movie was NOT on the soundtrack...)

*weep* indeed it is... it will be a sad day in music history the day they close their doors... In other news. I have only been to one show of his. The most recent one in Ch'town. He has been on my concert hit list to see for years. Words can't describe how excited I was at this opportunity. I was front row with my camera (<--heaven). There were some dinks in the crowd though that were yelling annoying comments. But other than that I was awed by the performance. He played The Marquee the night previous, and had it not been for work I would have hopped the shuttle to see that one too. But alas... I need my job to pay the bills. Damn bills.. always getting in the way of fun...

True. I take it back. I guess I just don't like Episode I & II (& subsequently her role). Which pains me to say.. it really does..

I'm not a huge fan of hers either. I was so into the movie that it actually took awhile for me to realize it was her. I think she did a great job (considering..) But then it also helped I didn't even <i>know</i> she was in the film before I watched it.
