I got my tickets about 3 seconds after I read the note on Matt's site. Ticketmaster may be quick as hell but damn it if its worth $5 on each ticket, convenience fee my ass ;).

Anyone planning on going? More importantly does anyone know if it will be students only? I have an exam the night of the show in Waterloo to my dismay so the Brock show would be the only one I could make. Unless I skip my exam, which is possible ;). At any rate, if any Brock students have extra info that has not been made public let me know:). Also if any Brock student wants to take me as a sign in if it is students only i will be ever so grateful!

Space is awesome. I have killed years of my life staring at the sky. Now i major in physics with a specialization in astronomical theory, woo. Very nice pictures by the way, I have taken a few in my day but they are all at m parents house. At some point i'll get them and upload some.

I rather enjoy coldplay's music. On a related note I went to a ball run by my faculty here at school and the amateur DJ club was in charge of the music. They played one rock song and it was "yellow" they also scratched(or whatever that rappy thing you do with records is called) to it . . . . Needless to say it was more like going clubbing in a suit with more drunks . . . it made me cry a little bit.

Uh oh, I have a dark secret. Back in the day I was a young stupid kid in grade school and, gasp, actaully owned a prozzak album. Being that I am now some 7 years older I cant see that ever happening again. . . . I must admit though that their songs were damn catchy in an annoying repetative kind of way.

I have for the last 5 years of my life worked at a pool which regularly has several thousand people in and out of the washrooms per day. I am also responsible for cleaning said washrooms, well I am for the guys anyway but i often help in the girls. Over the years I have observed the following: - There is more shit on the floor of a guys washroom which is not to say there is none on the floor of the girls, just less - Noone male or female can work a toilet paper dispencer as entire rolls will always end up on the ground covering up hidden treasures - The tampon disposal bags never make any sort of mess as most women know how to open and close it and it is usually relatively clean, until it over flows. - Toilets in the girls side will clog much quicker due to more use and often be used anyway as there is no other choice if you've been waiting in line for 20min, this leads to shitty water on the floor - There is never a line in the guys washroom, ever, and is always one in the girls. - Finally, noone knows how to flush . . . In conclusion guys are probabbly a little more gross than girls, I have never seen "POOOOO" writen on the wall in shit in the girls but in the guys . . .shudder. . . Keep in mind that its pretty nasty in both and nothin gbeats a nice clean toilet at home ;)

I'd have to agree that the crowd left something to be desired. In that pic kvanlierop posted I would be standing just right of the frame, maybe a bit back. I was direct center stage about 8 feet back. I was rather irritated with the people yelling random nothings at random times and the guy about 4 feet away from me smoking up was none too fun either as that smell tends to make me very sick. But it was a great set list and all in all was a good show. KICKASS chant at the end was a wonderful cap on the evening. I dont think this show was as good as the arizona's show back in july but that was all ages and kitchener is notorious for its immature behavior in the downtown establishments. That of course from a person who lives in Waterloo, not Kitchener ;) Elements by the way is close to the worst venue in terms of exiting ever with a bottleneck every 10 feet or so. Don't think I'll ever be atending elements on a regular night as poking myself with flaming sticks seems more fun than a 14 year old ridden foam party . . . I've said it before, I hate kids, at least the ones that hang out with a crowd that is far too old for them(not all of you, I know many a youngster who can hold themselves at a high level of respectfulness).

I pay far too little attention to popular culture to even know what emo is. I just assumed it was some new buzz-word to replace "goth" and make said people seem more special. It is now and always will be a word to describe little children trying to be diffrent by being exactly the same as everyone else. Dress in balck, talk about cutting yourself and you've got yourself a fad. The Southpark when Stan gets dumped and he joins the goths comes to mind. I must admit that I find kids acting this way much less annoying than the running thier mouth "thug" boys/"prosti-tot" girls that try to pick fights with me at work with thier "boys".
