  1. The show in Toronto was the probably the best out of the 16 times i've seen him.
  2. I do I have 10.14.05 Buffalo 10.15.05 Toronto 10.16.05 Ottawa Acoustic 10.20.05 Kitchener 10.22.05 London The hub is down, right? YSI? ;)
  3. So yeah, anyone have the Toronto show bootleg yet?
  4. Chomsky, Zinn and co. have been doing it for years, and they're still at large
  5. Awesome job, Hoverball. Thanks!
  6. I think it had to do with the song not turning out the way he wanted on AoB. And how did you guys go about meeting him after the show?
  7. Fuck, that was awesome. Best set list i've ever seen him perform, great crowd, great atmosphere. And The Ladies And Gentlemen were great too. Man, I think i'll try to get tickets for the London show now. But the best part was hearing Prime Time Deliverence live. Fucking incredible. It's my favorite song, and each time i've seen I always hoped he'd throw it in there, despite the remote chance. I can now die a happy man. On top of that he played Suburbia, The Rat AND Police Cars. So awesome. Oh, and the new t-shirts are pretty nice too. Picked me up the tank logo shirt. Prime Time(acoustic) Tripoli (acoustic) Near Fantastica Load Me Up Hello Time Bomb Suburbia The Rat Who Would Be King Oh Be Joyful Everything is Automatic Avalanche Blue Skies Over Bad Lands Weapon Apparitions (acoustic) ENCORE Giant Alert Status Red Advertising on Police Cars Whoever bootleged this show, please post it ASAP
  8. I'll be wearing a black shirt of some sort. Possibly my Joyful Rebellion shirt. God i hope he plays PTD tonight...
  9. I'll be there around 4. Probably by myself until I meet up with some other friends later. Wear name tags or something, people.
  10. The riff in Weapon rips off Fucking in the Bushes by Oasis ;)
  11. The opening riff on 23 by Jimmy Eat World rips off Everything is Automatic.
  12. After 7 years of searching, I finally bought Lo-Fi for $60 today. Let the good times roll.
  13. I don't think it's that he wears different clothes than heyrabbit, but rather he dresses like an emo-hipster-fag to appeal to the impressionable emo-hipster-fag youth. The fag term isn't necessarily meant to be taken literally.
  14. ROUND 1: GROUP A 1) Flashdance II 2) Failing The Rorschach Test 3) Tripoli vs Tripoli 4) Haven't heard/don't remember either 5) Life Beyond The Minimum Safe Distance 6) Man From Harold Wood (M Good vs. M Trolly isn't even a song) 7) The Fine Art of Falling Apart 8) Haven't heard/don't remember either 9)Can't Explain (4 minute mile isn't even a real song either) A survivor type poll thing would be better for this sort of thing methinks
  15. Wow, I wasn't expecing Pony Boy to sound this different from the version that leaked a while back. Sounds much more polished, but unfortunatly, less Holly.
  16. The acoustic version of PTD is incredible. The only thing it's missing is the 'have and you hold' part, but the new ending is still great I like how they put the album version of Weapon on the disc. It's also nice to see Dave and Ian in the Thank You section.
  17. Can't Get Shot will be on the next album. Cool.
  18. Hopefully this results in some sort of eventual voting reform in Ontario. And of course, on the national level
  19. I wasn't a fan of "Mass Romantic" so i didn't bother with "Electric Version". I'm loving this new album though
  20. Just announced on the Edge, Matt will be playing The Phoenix on October 15. The show is 19+. Tickets on sale Thursday. This makes up for Death Cab For Cutie being sold out on the same day.
  21. my DVD's
  22. I have a bunch of shows in my soulseek folder. VTSV
  23. It's not a typo, it's just the way they catalogue his records. I remember the old hmv.com doing the same thing. Amazon probably has it listed that way too. They'll have Dave Matthews Band listed as "Dave Band Matthews". I foget the reason why though.
  24. Well, he did say that his next record might be his least accessible recording, so that is possible. I think it'd be a good move.
  25. Jack Pillow Head was the name of the collective, as evident in the file name for the tracks he posted, and I believe Matt stated it in his blog. So now you've been proven wrong on this, and the notion a poster made regarding the fact that Matt stated that he didn't like LOTGA so it'd be unlikely for him to throw the phantom video for Haven't Slept in Years on the new album. With that said, I kindly ask that you descend from your proverbial high horse. kthx.
