OMG conspiracy!!! ;) :angry: And in regards to the album, i was hoping SWW would be one of the acoustic tracks, with the new lyrics and all. But the video for Rabbits, Big City Life and video commentaries more than make up for it. Should make adjusting to school again all the more easy.

While that may be true, you really need to get over yourself, big guy. Your holier than thou attitude is far more annoying than any overly exuberant fan boy.

matt has also said that he was never going to blog again. remember that? point is, little guy, if you're going to hang from every word some stranger tells you, you're in for the disappointment of a lifetime... that being life itself. Profound. Point is, if Matt says he dosen't like something like LOTGA or rico, then chances are its unlikely that he'll be changing his mind about it. Just taking it for what it's worth rather than 'hanging on every word'. You make it sound like we're losing sleep over such matters and thus it will hold some great implications for the rest of our lives based on discussion of a musician on fan message forum. ;)

Just saw him tonight in Toronto at the Ampitheatre. Fucking awesome. Second best show of the year (slightly behind the Modest Mouse/Broken Social Scene/ Metric show from a few weeks back). I'd love to see him again, at a smaller venue as we were way back in the 400 level. Still, the man knows how to put on a show and get the crowd involved.

When he busted out the acoustic for the last song, I was hoping he'd play PTD or something from the acoustic record other than Apparitions. Ah well, the casual/newer fans came to hear it. Fun show overall though. Suburbia was amazing to hear again as was Police Cars. What did Matt say after Suburbia though? It sounded to me like " we haven't played that in a while, that was a mistake" but my friend assures me it was in the context of them not playing it a lot at previous shows when they should have. Also, can anyone make out the chorus to "Oh Be Joyful"?. "Ohhh to be joyful, something something somethiiiiing"? Also, I think I saw you saturnine, jumping around with the dude in the green shirt and doing the "K-I-C-K-A-S-S" chants throughout the night ;)

I was hoping to have clarification about the show cancellation before I left...so it better be on as i'm leaving from Mississauga now *crosses fingers*

I can no longer drag friends to MG shows with me so i'll be there, solo most likely. It's always worth it though.

Alright, i'm not too technically saavy with these sorts of things, so could someone give me a quick rundown of how I would go about recording and uploading Thursdays show with my Mini Disc player? I'm thinking about picking up a mic from Radio Shack tomorrow. From there i'm lost. I can't imagine how i'd upload the show to my computer afterwards.

;) Actually, they're just assumptions based on past shows. Time Bomb, Appartions, Load Me Up, etc. have been played at every show since they were released. It would make sense for Oh Be Joyful! to be played, being the new single and all. The probable list were either played extensively on the last tour (the WLRRR material) and Avalanche and X Rated are usually played at every other show. He mentioned the acoustic song encore in his blog.

Definite: Hello Time Bomb Apparitions Load Me Up Alert Status Red Oh Be Joyful! Weapon Probable: Blue Skies In Love With A Bad Idea Put Out Your Lights Poor Man's Grey Avalanche X Rated + 2-3 older acoustic tracks for the encore (hopefully PTD) Everything else is up in the air, except for Rico, there will be none of that. He hasn't played Strange Days in a while so it'd be nice if he brought it back.

Hmmm, i have a mini disc player, perhaps i should try to bootleg this show. How would I go about uploading it and then converting to mp3 format though?

Yeah, this isn't a collection of Matt's favourite tracks, just a collection of his hits. Probably all the singles in order with "Oh Be Joyful" and maybe a couple other tracks thrown in.
