1. Modest Mouse - Good News.... 2. Wilco - A Ghost Is Born 3. Epicure - The Goodbye Girl 4. The Black Keys - Rubber Factory 5. The Music - Welcome to the North 6. Velvet Revolver - Contraband 7. Matthew Good - White Light.... 8. The John Butler Trio - Sunrise Over Sea 9. The Tea Party - Seven Circles These were the only albums I brought which were released this year. I thought Velvet Revolver's 'Contraband' would have been better, but it was still ok. I was pretty dissapointed with the final three. Best pre-2004 albums I purchased this year. Wilco - Yankee Hotel Foxtrot Sigur Ros - () & Agaetis Byrjun MGB - LOTGA & AOB Lacuna Coil - Comalies Pearl Jam - Vs Modest Mouse - Moon & Antartica -

Actually, I don't skip over a single song. The lyrics are very good. Sometimes I think the album is too short, though that is also why the album works so well. -

When I was first listening to Moon & Antartica I found Brock's voice annoying, but it grows on you. It sounds a little different on 'Good News..'. Good News... is my favourite album of 2004'. 'Satin in a Coffin' and 'The Good Times are Killing Me' are also damn good. -
'Empty Road' and 'Blue Skies Over Bad Lands'. I voted for Empty Road.

'Meant to Live' was decent. But the rest of the album sucks the wang! -
you could stop and have these two as the best mgb and mg tracks. 'Weapon'

Eminem's music = Lame Though I have to admit "Without Me" was a catchy tune, but that new track "Just Loose It" is just an ordinary rehash.

I've been thinking about picking up this album, and a few others. I saw it cheap the other week.
