i've resurrected this thread because i've been listening to their latest album good news for people who love bad news for four straight days and i've fallen in love with it. a few songs on it don't really appeal to me, like dance hall or bukowski, but blame it on the tetons, ocean breathes salty, float on, the world at large, bury me with it and just about every other song are absolutely amazing. it's easily the best album of 2004, in my opinion. there are a few lyrics in some of the songs that just blow my mind. ocean breathes salty - you wasted life why wouldn't you waste death. bury me with it - we were shooting at a mound of dirt, well nothing was broken and nothing was hurt. blame it on the tetons - no my dog won't bite you. though it had the right to. go and give her credit, cuz she knows i would've let happen. all those eager actors gladly taking credit. for the lines created by the people tucked away from sight. and my favourite line of the moment; everyone's a building burning. with no one to put the fire out. starring at the window looking out. waiting for time to burns us down. if you haven't already, i encourage you to buy the album, or if you must download a track off kazaa or whatever you use to download music illegally. everyone's a

Matt Good sent me an email this afternoon asking if his new band Super Happy Fun ball could open for Panic Button. I said no.

i can't understand why he'd get so upset over this. there was someone at our show at the rockwater taping it, and a few people taking pictures, and i really didn't notice. two words. spoiled brat.

i'm more worried about paul martin to tell you the truth. when asked about supporting the americans with nuclear arms in space, martin ducked the question three times before a journalist finally asked him whether he would support it. to that he said he would not in any way. we'll see. i think he's lying. asked about the gross domestic product and the rising dollar, martin shrugged and stated that as finance minister he never answered that kind of question, so he wasn't about to start now.

I don't believe Norm (the producer) mixed that version, and if he did it was just a quick job. He spent three hours mixing the album version. The acoustic version was just the first two guitar tracks plus the vocals.

I was saying that if someone disagrees with something that's true then they are wrong. It's simple logic. You seem to be looking to take offence to everything I say. I hate this song more than anything Matthew Good has ever released. It's really weak in my opinion.

Agreed. When I was in Scotland a friend made me a mixed cd and one of the tracks was a song by Kings of Convenience called I Don't Know What I Can Save You From. I enjoy it immensely.
