Jason played for Ozzy for a while and plays with Voivod now. Rob was in suicidal tendencies first, then Ozzy, now metallica.

Theres one movie that i thought was great but i have no idea what the name was. Theres one scene where some guy rips out the heart of a vampire, then stabs the heart with like a pencil and the vampire dies. and theres lots of blood and people getting eaten alive. any one know wha movie that was?

Maybe they thanked him just because they like him, just like in the "thank-you's" on the Foo Fighters 3rd CD they thank tenaciuos D, or how they thank the FIFA 99 design team on BM.

I own "cliff em all" and i still hold jason as THE best metallica bassist so far. He had amazing pressence, his singing was amazing, and when he played, he was doing nothing but downstrokes with a pick for 3 hours. If you play bass at all, you know that is amazing. And if he wanted to, Jason couldve been Cliff 2, but he did things differently.

agreed. That was their prime for live preformances. Jason Newsted is still a madman on bass

Joe Walsh is amazing. The solo for "Hotel California" is godly.

I have always liked metallica, but more Jason Newsted in particular. I like most anything they have done, although "kill 'em all" is a bit too reminisent to Dave Mustaine. "Until It Sleeps" is my favorite song for sure.

Am I the only one who has no idea what he's talking about? What is SLR? A Record publishing company if im not mistaken. He was kicked off due to something that happened with him. No idea what it was but it had to be BAD.

If Matt didnt stop after getting kicked off SLR (i have been trying to fnd out the bottom of this issue, but only a handful of music execs know whats up, and matt WILL NOT say anything.), Then I think that means he still has alot left in him. Im guessing hes just going to spend time with his wife for a while. as for the other band members, im sure that Pat and Christian have other side projects, and i know that Rich writes songs for TV. I think that clears most things up

Audioslaves CD is really good, but it just cant compare to a rage album. One thing that the audioslave CD has over any other CD is that it's better for driving around. Crank it up and roll down the windows.

Hes a fucking amazing guitarist without a doubt. His solo stuff has got to be some of the best stuff I have heard in a while. His solo shows were apparently INSANE good too. Just pick up "Shadows Colide With People".

Shes hot AND plays bass guitar. plus she threw me a pick at the Kool Haus show. Id be all over that like a fat kid on chocolate cake.

As far as I know he got sick the day of filming, so they got her to be in the video.
