Christian is Still really good, but Dave just added this special "something" to the mix that made the songs so damn good. But if he did come back then you might as well bring back Ian Browne and make it MGB again. thats just my opinion. maybe christian can start Copyright again.

I find it hard to believe you had a chance to listen to Matt's Music before LOTGA if you lived on the other side of the country. thats just me though. What did he do? Indy shows in vancouver?
-
Dude, you REALLY shouldn't have taken the brown acid...
-
I think it would have just scared to many fans away who are just casual radio listeners if they used empty road as a single. i think he shouldve used NA4Life, tried to get it played in US, then got lots of negative press from republicans. i believe its called the "Michael Moore" effect.
-
IT just makes him cooler than he already is. maybe hes just trying to be as different as possible from geoff Lloyd
-
Well even if the band doesnt know it right now, they have a month or so to rehearse it. they are all talented musicians so im sure it could be done if they want to. it all depends if a flurry of e-mails makes him give in, or if he just ignores it
-
speaking of loser anthems. why the hell isnt it just re-released? maybe about 20,000 new copies or something if they dont want to go crazy. make a duble disc et including lo-fi b-sides. im certainly ready for it
-
Who said it was an insult? lol. and besides the guitar is simple because they are trying to incorporate punk still, which you can hear on the song. only 4 chords. one more than a ramones song. and his singing was never something exceptional anyway.

If any of you are like me, then you would agree that Prime Time Deliverance is one of the most powerful MGB songs ever made. The problem is that Matthew Good doesnt play it live anymore. I do have as idea though. I propose that we try to get it played live on the "put out your lights" tour. I say we do this by trying to get as many people to e-mail him begging him to play it live. I dont want to piss matthew good off by basically bombarding him with e-mails, but i think that its worth a try. anyone with me?

I think Rico a fantastic MGB song. was great for video. If anything, i think indestructable shouldve been replaced by Strangest one of all
-
I Really liked it during the avalanche tour. Maybe Thor just messed up in hamilton. it was great at the Kool Haus.
-
I found that the new album is VERY reminisent to The Who, just in the sence of the song structuring. Its Pete townshend in the form of billie joe armstrong. I found it incredibly good.
-
Where did you find these?
-
I do remember matt saying that he spent a few thousand on the video and he was making it himself, and it was turning out terribly, so he handed it to him to salvage what was left
-
I can see why he cancelled it. Man i would hate to be a Matthew Good fan and live in the US. i think your only hope is if he joins a large tour with a few other bands, as i dont think he will do an entire tour himself
-
Kool Haus is all ages. thought i would inform
-
1) Rat Who would be King 2) Invasion 1 3) Generation X-wing (which is already in the shower with the sister of sort of a protest song. hiyo! bad joke alert) 4) Tripoli 5) Avalanche 6) Running for Home I considering voting for Man from harold wood just so i could stand out. oh what i do for attention......lol
-
ya. the idea went to the same place "the metro" website went to (i think that was what the special website was called). oh well. maybe a few accoustic songs will come out on a new single as filler. we can dream
-
What other MG/MGB videos did Bill Morrison direct? if you say strange days im gonna have a joygasam, lol (such a fantastic video)
-
dont feel bad though katastrophina, i never knew indestructable was a video until a year ago
-
Sybloistic white walls is preety much the same on Raygun and LOTGA, but Havent slept in years is pretty different. im pretty sure Flashdance is the same, just maybe a quality difference, as the one i heard sounded like someone holding a tape recorder to a crappy computer speaker. not sure about fated, as i dont know if Much @ edge is a live CD or not. i would assume they are similar
-
I spent most of 4 hours listening to Raygun....
THE MAN replied to miscellaneous's topic in Matthew Good
Ya Lo-fi is a hard one to find. expect to pay $100 US on ebay, or use up a life miracle and find it at a used CD store -
There is a bar in the kool haus, but the main part is a big open floor. its why it used to be called "the warehouse". Avalanche tour was there and it was all ages. had good sound too. im looking forward to it as i haven seen him live in 2 years. wouldve been a few days but i couldnt sneak into le scratch by sneaking into a window. oh well
-
We should set up a big statue of liberty with Matt's head to welcome newcomers! (yes, im aware that I myself am a newcomer, lol)
-
BM version is better IMO, but thats because ive never heard the Lo-fi version, lol. Oh well. as long as i have my precious Beautiful Midnight here im fine
