Tremendous album. Its been in high rotation for two years. Saw him perform Blowers Daughter last night on Jay Leno. fantastic.

my guess is, getting members that he brings on tour for his solo records, would be pretty pointless. Although bass players being the same wouldnt make a huge impact, its the soundwriting after all. having christian would be REALLY pointless. If he has some of the same band members, he might as well just make solo records and let them write some of the material.

being a conductor/arranger for a symphonic program is tougher than meets the eye. Listen to his Avalanche stuff and realize that its pretty simplistic for orchestral movements and colours.
