  1. Failure's "Enjoy the Silence" is slightly better than Depeche Mode's original. Rammstein's "Stripped" is much better than Depeche Mode's original Deftones' "Simple Man" also.
  2. Then of course there's Linkin Park. All sounds pretty much the same and this is even more true of the subject matter they sing about.
  3. Green Day- they've become extraordinarily cliched and lame, nothing worthwhile from them anymore (and there wasn't much in the past) Marilyn Manson- attention whore who does dumbass things to get negative attention and then plays victim of the media and society when he gets that attention. Slipknot- wankers who make really crappy music, never produced anything worth hearing but still maintain sufficient arrogance to refer to the current teenage generation as the "Slipknot generation." Franz Ferdinand- pretentious, terrible, disjointed excuse for music.
  4. I don't think I've ever read about you liking a movie yet., not that Swordfish is any good. That's because most movies suck.
  5. Swordfish- loaded with cliches, Travolta blows, Halle Berry's surprisingly unimpressive nude, there's really nothing that I liked very much about it.
  6. They sure look like wankers.
  7. 9/10... such fun. where's it from?
  8. Canada isn't the most multicultural country of all... Then who is? ... I would think it would be really difficult to say for sure. To determine you'd pretty much have to count how many cultures are in a given nation but then you'd have difficulty in determining whether or not one group of people can be considered a different culture. For instance in India they've identified like 800 different languages and more than twice as many dialects. There's a variety in religious belief and practice, and so on and so forth. But to someone in the west, they're all just Indian. you could say the same thing about the united states. a californian speaks a different language than a georgian, and they DEFINETLY have different cultures. i think when people think "multicultural" they think "multirace" an east indian from india is still east indian, no matter what language they speak or what part of the country they're from. Sure but whose place is it to make that distinction? I think even if you look at as a question of race rather than culture, there's bound to be all sorts of gray areas that occur.
  9. Watched 3 movies this week. Malcolm X- not very well done, not too well acted; given what I was expecting, I wasn't too impressed. JFK- not bad at all. I've never been too fond of Oliver Stone's stuff actually but this was quite alright. Mothman Prophecies- another one that was only ok. I've heard the story it's based on before having seen the movie and so I thought it could have been done a lot better.

  11. I don't really get a summer, continuing with school and occasionally hanging out with various people.
  12. The Socialist Party may finally take hold! /crazy dream.
  13. Eccentricity is a poor excuse for bad taste.
  14. You may disagree with me when you develop good taste.
  15. Extremely.
  16. I also voted Batman Begins... but even that I thought was pretty mediocre.
  17. I just thought it was slightly interesting and I've not much of anything better to do. Full Story
  18. Dr. Strangelove (is that considered a comedy?) also Candian Bacon was fun.
  19. Bert from Sesame Street??
  20. Definitely. Especially considering all of those crappy shows they've tried and failed with... like Free Ride.
  21. "Electra Made Me Blind" - Everclear
  22. "Stripped" - Rammstein (Depeche Mode cover)
