Even though I think Muse is pretty ok, I can't stand that song or video.

I'd say they're better suited to the final stage of the digestive process rather than being ingested.

I've heard a couple of songs of his... the voice is a bit hard to take seriously at times.

I've seen them perform live on some TV show, it was quite terrible. It's too bad because I really liked their first album, their second not so much but it was alright, but then material from the 2nd album, when performed live, seems to suck really badly.

Finally saw it yesterday. It was pretty damn funny. The wrestling bit wasn't so necessary though.

I'd say Rammstein's Till Lindemann. Although best known for deep, harsh vocals, he's actually a really good singer. Has a very powerful voice, very expressive. Rammstein's softer songs show off his range. Not quite like anything I've heard from other rock bands.

blasphemy. You should know by now I hate most of everything. What do you like? Quite a few bands, but even bands that I like didn't release anything mind-blowing in 2006. There's a scale by which I decide on the quality of any album. If I like every single song on it, and there's not a single track that I would rather skip than listen to, it's a perfect album; of the hundreds of albums that I have, there's only one I can name off the op of my head that comes close to that (and it's not from 2006). Then there are the great albums, on which there are between 1 and 3 songs I would rather skip than listen to. If there are 4 songs to 1/2 of the album in total (rounding up for albums with an odd number of tracks) that I would skip rather than listen to, it's a good album. Below that, reaching all the way down to 3 or 4 listable songs makes an album ok/mediocre. If there are only 1 or 2 good songs, it's a poor album. And if there aren't any good songs it obviously totally blows.

I haven't heard any exceptional albums from 2006 yet.

I'm gonna try and see it this week. It doesn't seem to be playing at the theater I typically go to, so I'd have to go a few extra miles, but it'll probably be worth it.

You've all got to be kidding. The whole album's a collection of lame, whiney cliches. All very fashionable and phoney. If I'd come up with it, and Green Day stole it, I'd rather have the world believe Green Day created it rather than have my name attached to such wankery.

I'd say "House of Sand and Fog" might take that title.

As much as I like Bob Dylan, I wouldn't go too far out of my way to see him in concert. The odds for Foo Fighters are even lower.

It's supposed to come out early next year. Definitely something to look forward too. As lead singer Isaac Brock describes it, it'll be "nautical balalaika carnival romp." For those who don't know, a balalaika is a Russian folk instrument; here's a pic:
