Doomsday countdown??

Almost makes you forget that Polanski's a pervert.

This movie has been sitting on one of my shelves for literally years, I've never watched it for some reason though.

Of all the bands I listen to, MG's got to have the best lyrics of them all.

I finally had enough spare time to see it today. It's a great movie, the best I've seen in months.

You know, that's one of the few MG songs I've never heard.

Hmm. I always figured Hopeless was meant to be more like 50's rock than country, but whatever. That said, Omissions of the Omen is by far better the way I see it. It's got better lyrics and a cooler sound to it.

You can just wait till the eliminations are all done, that'd determine it real nicely I would think.

In all honesty I'd be surprised if it doesn't turn out that way.

Well that's part of it, but I think the main issue is that our votes don't really matter anyway.

I think it will make little difference even if that's the case.

I hope it's actually at least partially in color, very few music videos are good when shot in b&w.

hmmm, a half decent band I suppose, wish their video had been more original or unique though.

Never heard of it either, but I rarely watch TV.

Some problems with the government are beyond solution by means of voting, so to say that people who don't vote dont have the right to complain I think would be untrue. I'm very well informed on politics and the election process, however if I'd been old enough to vote in this election, I wouldn't because there is no right answer in who to vote for and because I don't believe in the 2 party system. Furthermore the electoral college minimizes the amount that votes matter anyway, they're practically meaningless.

I would think it'd be a pretty transparent scheme if it went down that way, but then I've thought that about alot of Bush's actions, so I'm not sure what to think.
