  1. That's a great video. Clearly the guy has some video camera experience.
  2. Here's the link to the entry: http://www.matthewgood.org/2008/03/wednesday-philadelphia/
  3. The show in Los Angeles was one hour, ten minutes, and the venue could not have held more that 150 people. Per his blog, the woman who told him to "Shut up and sing" in what he describes as a very disrespectful tone, is what got to him. He apologizes for skipping the encore. This hasn't been a great tour for Matt for a number of reasons, and I think that just sent him over the edge.
  4. Great picture!!!
  5. Wow. Just...Wow. What the f*** is wrong with people? Giving out his phone number and leaving messages about his personal life on his answering machine? As a new reader of the blog, I felt uncomfortable reading some of the comments offering him medical and psychiatric advice. It's really a shame that his openness and accessibility was abused by some people with no concept of boundaries.
  6. "The Pedestrian" by The Foxboro Hot Tubs, who sound like Green Day doing a 60's garage band throwback, because, well, they are. ;)
  7. The big advantage of gmail over Yahoo! Mail for me is that gmail allows you to receive your mail using a POP3 client. Several years ago, Yahoo! changed so that feature was only available in their paid service. That's when my Yahoo! account became my "junk" email account.
  8. I loved the comment from the guy who insisted that Matt needed a strong dose of amoxicillin for his (probable) viral gastroenteritis. It's kind of weird how many people offer him medical and psychiatric advice on his blog. I guess everyone can be an expert on the internet.
  9. I've also realized that the only way I'll ever get to see Matthew Good with a band is to travel to Canada, so I'll be flying to Victoria, BC in June. But considering where you're coming from, you probably want to go to one of the east coast shows!
  10. Poor guy can't catch a break, can he? It sure doesn't sound like a simple case of food poisoning to me. He probably should just pack it up and go home and re-schedule. Of course, that's easy for me to say, I already got to see him on this tour, but reading his last blog entry was almost painful.
  11. I had the great pleasure of seeing Matthew in Los Angeles last week and I recorded some of the show with my digital camera. Here is a link to the YouTube videos: http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=A9F86151E7C2BC48 It was the first time I had seen him, and I was completely blown away. I certainly hope he comes back to make up the San Diego show.
