  1. So am I the only one who never cared about the blogs?
  2. Against, but not to the point of doing anything about it.
  3. armin van buuren - club oxygen
  4. If I'm going to get conquered by anyone, it might as well be the Russians
  5. Nu Romantix / DJ John Bora - Mad World (pulsedriver vinyl mix)
  6. Nine Inch Nails - Happiness In Slavery
  7. Capital Music Hall, Ottawa - 2004 x2
  8. Because Rico and Carmelina have wider appeal than most of Matt's other material...as it is with singles for most artists. Giant. Nothing beats the intro to that.
  9. Yes, the cast was excellent. ...And that is the biggest signature ever.
  10. Shatner is the man. He captains one of the teams at one of the largest paintball scenario games int he world - "SPPLAT ATTACK", informally referred to as Shatnerball.
  11. It appears they recently revived Earth 2, as in today. Which if I remember correctly, was fundamentally monstrous. Space: Above and Beyond seemed good at the time, but if I saw it again today, I'm not sure what I'd think. I still maintain that for the most part, Babylon 5 was the best.
  12. After the past 24 hours, you can add Nine Inch Nails to my list...near the top.
  13. I, however, am not.
  14. The odd intermissions were annoying. I don't need weird poetic metaphors in my war movies. It went ON AND ON FOR EVER, but it was ok overall.
  15. People don't generally get into music with the intent of making no money. If someone offers you a big pile of cash to use a song in one of their commercials, is there any reason to refuse, barring a moral objection against the product/company or just some pretentious notion of trying not to 'sell out'? Money is the motivation for almost everything these days. You cannot escape it. Whether you think it's still 'art' or not really isn't relevant. The use of an artists song in a commercial, for the most part, gets them some money. People see the commercial, and if they like the song they may try to find out more about the artist. Maybe they'll buy the album, which equals more money. You're basically getting paid to advertise your own music at the same time the company is pushing their product.
  16. AoB, with BM a close second...but with Advertising on Police Cars, The Workers Sing A Song Of Mass Production, and Sort Of A Protest Song all on one CD, it comes out on top.
  17. Foreign guy who allegedly makes the best soup in town. You must follow a specific protocol when ordering your soup (enter from the right side, state the order in a specific convention, do not ask additional questions or make superficial comments, etc), or he will yell 'NO SOUP FOR YOU!' and ban you from his restaurant.
  18. Way Out West - Intensify [blind Faith Remix]
  19. Jeff Wayne - The Eve Of The War (Hybrid's Fire In The Sky Remix)
  20. It varies between moderately annoying and hilarious, with an emphasis on neutrality. Soup Nazi was classic, most things involving Kramer were good, Elaine's boss, whatever he name may be (recreated an Apocalypse Now scene...) but alot of the rest I could do without. It's a Festivus for the rest of us.
  21. Silverchair - Anthem For The Year 2000 (if that's what it's even called) My name has been shafted. To the max.
