I actually supported the Iraq invasion at the time
Sparq replied to Moonlight_Graham's topic in Politics and Debate: WRONG!
Yeah. I'm not talking about the preemptive thing...unfortunately in this day and age it is neccessary to wait until the killing starts before you take steps to stop it. Hidden agendas generally seem to motivate 'preemptive' invasions. -
Those would be Zeppelins. I played Crimson Skies...it was decent, but I found that it went from extremely easy to maddeningly difficult in the space of 2 missions about the middle of the game.

Last game I played was Doom 3...excellent, too. I actually wrote a review a few weeks ago on a forum I moderate. Totally Off Topic, Video Game Section - Doom 3 Plenty of Screenshots for you there. ---------------- If you like the psionic stuff and don't mind playing an older PC game...try System Shock 2. It's kinda a first person shooter/RPG. You can go for technical skill (NAVY), combat skill (MARINE), or psionic powers (PSI-CORPS), or a combination. Pretty cool game.

It's the greater good. Killing may be 'wrong' in the books of most people, but when it's to prevent even greater amounts of killing...killing of civilians, not just soldiers...then yes, it's justified. -
He was talking to his alleged foul mouthed father over a speaker phone. The other two were better anyway.

That's the thing...I still support the invasion, but not the motive or methods. And I would not be inclined to mess with China or Russia...the potential for disaster is too high. Nor would I want the US to be the only ones with nukes. -

While I did (and I guess still do) support the removal of Saddam Hussein, they really went about it the wrong way. If th potential for nuclear weapons really had been their main motivation, North Korea would have been a more logical target. They already have nukes. And doing it despite UN/NATO approval was a huge mistake...looks like they may be headed the way of the old League of Nations now, thanks to the US... -

Making nonsense from the constitution

I don't even know what to say...while I agree with the main idea, I am not anti-gun...augh! Conflict! As for the government seeing this, it's quite possible. In addition to Echeleon, they (FBI I believe...) have already installed a monitoring system on several major ISPs called 'DCS1000' (Formerly 'Carnivore') which watches for questionable content. KILL PRESIDENT BOMB HOUSE WHITE WTC TERROR! That should keep 'em busy for a while. -
