I absolutely love these guys. Little one, Lydia, Hello My Name is Human, Bathsalts so many good songs. These guys were here in Pittsburgh twice in the last 5 months. They are going to be doing a big UK tour in early 2018. Plus 3 time Grammy nominees.

Anyone fans of these guys? Their song Little One is incredible. Check them out real 90's grunge feel

What Videogame(s) Are You Playing Right Now?

I have been playing WWE 2K18 NBA 2K18 Wheel of Fortune Marvel Pinball Evil Within 2 Wolfenstein 2. All on xbox one. Wheel of Fortune is extremely addicting. It was bundled with Jeopardy and i have yet to try Jeopardy. NBA 2K gets better each year. WWE2K is great. I never imagined some of my friends being in a video game and 2K made the dreams a reality. Marvel Pinball is fun. A bunch of different tables each with their own unique designs. Evil Within 2 is as good if not better than the first. I also played a bit of the new south park and it's fun, it's everything you would expect from South Park. -
Daniel, That is my favorite song from Somethingness. Also a big fan of Monkey Brains and Escape Artist from Burn Burn. Sometimes I want to hear radio friendly poppy music and when I do that is my go to album. Not a lot of the Burn Burn songs were played live and I think the band is not fond of the album either. Still a solid album and if any other band released it I think it would get higher reviews and praise

I think All For You, Bring Back the Sun, and Story are decent songs from Gravity. It's a poppy album and was in tune for things that were big in 2002. Think Good Charlotte with the happy go lucky pop sound. Healthy is such a mixed bag though. I like Al Genina a lot. Picture is good and Angels Losing Sleep is good as well. I have seen OLP many, many times since 2000 and the Healthy tour was one of my favorites. The band was on fire. Mike Turner was upset with a lot of things. Remember, Spiritual Machines was his idea. He was the one who read the book and pitched it to the other guys. I was 16 or 17 yrs old when my dad took me and a friend to see OLP at St Bonaventure college. After the show we waited and waited to meet Raine. We met Jeremy, Jamie Edwards (was playing on the tour with OLP) and Mike. Mike spoke with us for a good 30 mins and was talking about the book. This show was in April 2000 and before Spiritual Machines (the album) was released. You could just tell how passionate he was about the album. Raine never did come out to meet the 5 or so fans who waited for him though. Sidenote I would finally meet Raine in 2002 as well as 2005-2006 and he was/is very down to earth and was a pleasure to speak with. Mike went on to release some music with Edwin of I Mother Earth and Stuart of the Tea Party listed as Crash Karma. They covered some OLP songs with Edwin singing vocals. Youtube should still have these for those interested.

So I have decided to do something different for the 12 days of Goodness this year. In addition to MG/MGB shows, I will post an OLP live show each day also for fans who haven't heard them or for fans who may want to fall back in love with them. No better time than now right?
-
yensid Disney backwards. Good stuff. I do know a good bit of OLP fans and a good bit of OLP shows get recorded. Hopefully the tapers are generous and record Matt's set also. Could be some great recordings from this tour.
-
I mean just go to setlist.fm and you can see what is being played. Never had an issue getting a ticket day of the show. You may risk paying a bit more or a lot more depending on city but at least you will know the majority of what to expect.
-
The ticket prices are fair. I just wish they planned this for a time when it was "snow season" Makes it hard to plan. I may just use my brain and take plane or maybe train, it sounds insane but...... Or wait until July and got to Timmins and maybe see Santa while I'm that close to the North Pole
-
if this is like the weezer/pixies show I would imagine one band would play about 75 mins and the other about 95 mins In a perfect world they would go 90 each.
-
I think you are right. OLP for the most part mainly plays hits as it is. I am huge fan of both though and it sucks that they aren't at least doing Buffalo. I am considering the Hamilton show though. The other thing that sucks is that March has notoriously bad weather in Buffalo and surly Canada as well so I am not sure if I want to throw down on a ticket and then be snowed out. If this happened in the Spring or Summer I would be all over a Canada trip.
-
got my tickets to see Weezer/Pixies for next July, going to see Glassjaw this Monday. Looking forward to both shows.

Anyone tried out the new Wolfenstein game? I hear mixed reviews. People either really love it, or really hate it. -
it's a small bar up north past Cranberry. It's in Warrendale near the big Verizon call center I believe. Not the best roads in the winter unfortunately.
-
James, I'l buy first round!! Do you live in PGH also?
-
I am going to the Pittsburgh show. It's strange they pick the one venue in the city I've never heard of. Also going to see Weezer/Pixies next July. Cannot wait.
-
but her mother called her Judy until Jen brought her to her knees
-
did the host not do his homework and listen to the album? I wonder how Decades would come across minus full band. I personally think Men at the Door> Decades so I was happy to hear this.
-
No, Matthew Good is not Weezer. One of the biggest complaints on the weezer boards is how they put 4-5 songs together for a medley. I will say if he did it once or twice it would be cool and different. If he did it every show it would be a stretch. I am with the no need to hear HTB and Load me up every show group too

MJK is a very polarizing individual. I did see a new APC single is out and I'l be seeing them live. A little MJK is better than no MJK
