I didn't think he ever played this one acoustic...maybe I'm mistaken. But if he did, I'd love to hear it. It's definately one of my favorites from Hospital Music. I think I actually like the album version better than Massey Hall. But saying that, it was awesome to hear this as the opening song at Medicine Hat show last year!

How Many Times Have You Seen Matt Live?
MountainMan replied to saraislipknot's topic in Matthew Good
Well, I haven't seen him nearly enough times...just coming up on #7 in Calgary soon, and possibly #8 if I can make it to the 2nd Calgary show. I was away from Canada a few years too long to rack up a high total. -
I love the Wa Wa guitar in this song. It's the only recent MG song I can think of that uses the Wa Wa pedal, which I think accounts for its unique sound. Every time I listen to this song I picture Christian Thor Valdson jamming out on stage...man I miss those days.

Soundgarden Reunion
MountainMan replied to Audio of Being's topic in Music In General: David Bowie Appreciation Station
I appreciated what he did with Audioslave and Soundgarden, they had some great tunes. Then I was excited just before he released the solo album "Carry On"...but I couldn't get into it and thought they were some of his weakest songs. So to hear that Scream got even worse reviews, I decided to boycot this album so I won't scar the image of the great songwriter he once was. Normally I am open to most artist's new work and give them at least one listen, but not this one. I'm hoping he'll make another 180 degree turn and put out some solid rock tunes like the good old days. -
Official Tour Setlist/review Thread 2009/2010
MountainMan replied to here is no why's topic in Matthew Good
Yah, I'm surprised there's no one on keyboards this year... it did sound like there was strings on Weapon so maybe their just adding those tracks backstage this year. I'm sure he will add more to his setlist in the upcoming shows. At least for the Vancouver shows, he always seems to play 3 or 4 more songs there compared to most venues. -
