  1. Let It Bleed is by far their best.
  2. both of their albums are pure pop gold.
  3. question. why does your poll not include Beggers Banquet? or Let It Bleed? or Aftermath? Their Satanic Majesties Request? Flowers? Between The Buttons? now that I think about it, it's very hard to judge the Stones best album.
  4. I feel sorry for you
  5. Leave "Sum 41" out of this, they had what, one or two pop-punk albums? Then they have followed up with two heavy metal type albums. they are shitty no matter which way you look at it mate.
  6. yes. The movie truely makes me beleive that Manchester has the best music scene. I mean, The Buzzcocks The Stone Roses Happy Monday Joy Division The Smiths Oasis Those are all pretty groundbreaking bands, with the exception of Oasis, who just know how to rock it, which aint a bad thing
  7. there there, you have the best of taste of music on this board by far.
  8. yeah, Closer is a little tough to get through. but very rewarding if you do
  9. i was actually just thinking about how shitty they are
  10. it would have been better with Graham. but thats just me.
  11. have you ever listened to the album Master of Puppets? And IMO, Metallica released the greatest music ever to be recorded on their "Live Shit: Binge and Purge" 3-CD set. It came out around 1991-1992. It is basically Metallica playing live during their peak, performing essentially their greatest hits up until that point. Best album ever IMO, and nobody should judge Metallica unless they've heard them live during their peak years (late-80's, early 90's). P.S. Matt Good is my 2nd favorite music act. But i don't really consider him a band. Nor did i consider MGB much of a band either. It was Matt, a hugely talented musician, back-up by a bunch of crappy musicians. To be MG is a solo artist essentially. Master Of Puppets is the one i was refering to.
  12. is anyone here fans of this monumentally ground breaking band?
  13. No, I wouldn't say country per say. More just general pop rock.
  14. Metallica has one semi-decent album, and it was recorded almost 20 years ago. I can't see how anyone could possibly think they are the best band ever.
  15. Summerteeth is deffinitly worth picking up.
  16. I would have to say all pop-punk bands of all kinds. this would include, Good Charlotte, Sum 41, Thursday, Thrice, and even Dashboard Confessional. Green Day is the only one that is worth anything. Last time I checked, punk rock wasnt about whining.
  17. well, if thats what we are getting at, then the best musician in the world is probably not in a rock and roll band.
  18. dont use John Lennons name in the same thought as Metallica thank you.
  19. I've seen them live, and I really realy like some metal bands. but for the most I think metal, and inpreticular, Metallica are shit. and I saw Metallica on the Black album tour, so I saw them in their prime, and was not impressed.
  20. Pink Floyd only has like 4 good albums.
