punk is a fashion. it failed to be a music genre in 1978.

though they are a huge Blur rip off, i think they are great.

if there was no punk music, there would, by a matter of musical evolution be no "alternative music". which more or less means no Matthew Good Band. indirectly, everyone here likes punk music.
