Who's Going To The Ottawa Show Oct. 17/18th?
eddis replied to Moonlight_Graham's topic in Matthew Good
Personally, I love "A Girl In The War". Matt was hitting the high notes to the best of his extent. "Black Helicopter" and "In A World Called Catastrophe" were also great live. I'm surprised too because I like both of those songs but live they blow you away that much more. Great shows though and Matt is a down to earth guy. If anyone was on the left hand side seats and noticed the girl on the aisle seat dancing in the middle, how funny was that? Errr, that's all I've got. -

Yes tonight was equally as awesome as last night. I have the setlist from tonight, in order and correct. I wrote them down myself and later at his bus Matt signed the paper. Girl Wedged Under The Front of a Firebird I'm Not Safer Than a Bank Champions of Nothing Born Losers In A World Called Catastrophe Silent Army In The Trees Black Helicopter The Boy Come Home She's In It For The Money Load Me Up Strange Days Tripoli I'm A Window 99% Of Us Is Failure Apparitions Encore Suburbia Pledge of Allegiance A Girl In The War Fine Art of Falling Apart Matt came on stage at 8:45 and played until 10:35. Again he was amazing and Dala was great too. His stage banter was priceless and the crowd tongiht was good. Two great shows from Matt. -

I don't have the setlist in any order but I do know what he played. He did open with Girl and Avalanche and closed with Apparitions. The encore is right. If anyone could put these in a correct order that would be nice Girl Wedged Avalanche Born Losers I'm A Window Silent Army In The Trees Black Helicopter 99% Of Us Is Failure Advertising on Police Cars Strange Days Load Me Up Empty Road Prime Time Deliverance Champions of Nothing She's In It For The Money Apparitions Encore North American For Life Suburbia Odette True Love Will Find You in The End -
Haha, I love it. I can't remember the first time I read that article but I laughed just as hard then as I did now. That's classic.

Great, great show last night. Matt was awesome as was the crowd. The only complaint with the crowd was the idiot during "99% Of Us Is Failure" yelling that the song was real painful and slow. If you post here, sorry, you're still an idiot today. Matt sounded awesome. We waited after the show and met Matt along with getting autographs. It was awesome to finally meet him and I'm excited to see him at both shows in Ottawa.

Haha, Blue Jimmy and Odiorn or however it's spelled. Have to love it.. By the way, I'll be there with my green MG shirt, the broken tank one.

Nope. I'll be at both shows. It will be the 5th and 6th show -
All the shows are acoustic.

Yeah it's cool. I was going to tell you the name of the city I live in but I figured, well I know that you wouldn't have heard of it. It's actually ironic that we are a city considering we have 12,000 people. Give or take and most likely it's take.

Northern New York as is the real Northern New York. Not Syracuse or Albany area. I'm talking on the St. Lawrence river. So, yeah.

I live in an odd place. I'm about an hour tops from Ottawa. We live way up North in New York. I'm glad that Matt is playing two shows there. Buffalo is a good four hours away or so. My sister and girlfriend stay the night there so we don't die on the way home. Club Infinity is a great place to watch a show. I've seen Matt play twice at the venue. Plus, it was the first show announced for us to see, ha.

I'm pumped. Going to Buffalo and both Ottawa shows. Wooo

I'm going to Buffalo for sure. It'll be my 3rd time seeing Matt at Infinity and 4th overall. Quite excited may I add
-
Haha yeah I work at a grocery store and had to pull a whole bunch of it and it was a bitch. But carry on

I'm thinking that "Hello Time Bomb" might be my favorite acoustic track. When I first listened to Rooms it wasn't something that I got into but after a few listens I did. It's just something about it, we've all come to know Time Bomb for being the hard rocker that it is and then Matt comes to us with with the acoustic version and it was very nice.

I haven't seen one of those in a long time. I'm left handed and that would be some good fun trying to sharpen my pencil
-
I've listened to it a few times and I dig it. I can hear the influence from ACLOTM in it. I'm a big Incubus fan myself and am excited for the new CD.

Ha, I believe my original claim was sarcasm. I know it's not original at all, in fact it's rather corny

I've had the perfect idea for my Halloween costume. If I attend a few parties I plan on being original, or just an idiot. Instead of going out and spending big cash on a costume that I'll wear once, I just plan on throwing on a nice pair of pants and wearing my Price Chopper work shirt and name tag. It's a great idea and it's cheap.
