  1. The Sixth Day
  2. I agree that Matt style of writing is very dramatic. No middleground for him, he wants to have a point and drive it home. As for the atomic bombs, Japan was the only Axis power left to fight. Maybe the war would have taken a few more months to end, but it would have been worth all of those lives taken away in the two bombings. And it didn't just affect the people who were alive at the time of the war, the blasts also affected future generations. It was way over the top of the U.S. to do that. Unjustified.
  3. That's what I've heard at least. A difficult person to deal with on a daily basis most likely.
  4. Yea BM for me. My favourite CD all the way through. The sounds are so different from track to track and the lyrics are great too.
  5. Hehehe it's adorable. If I wanted a smaller animal I would just get a cat though, they're cleaner anyway.
  6. I love it when shows have some world stuff them. I really like the episode of South Park when the boys give something to kids in Iraq or some other country around there, then the Iraqi boys give a donkey back to them. The South Park kids go to them to give their donkey back b/c they can't take care of it. When they meet they start talking about the differences between them (American/Iraqi) and then they realize that they are more similar than it seems. They're all so cute. Brown boys: "How come we can suddenly speak English?" "I don't know."
  7. Haha yep misleading indeed. But I wanted to come check it out anyway. ;) I voted Conan. I really don't like Kimmel. Kilborn seems arrogant to me. One time when I watched a part of his show he was talking to this guy about virginity (?) and the guest said he did it when he was 13, then Kilborn acted all impressed, saying 'oh I didn't do it until I was 14'. Wow good for him. Leno, meh, but Conan is my favourite (he did work on the Simpsons after all). I don't mind his sometimes silly humour. In the paper on Sunday when I read the 'best late night laughs' part Conan's are always the best. 'It has been rumoured that J. Lo got married last Saturday because she was pregnant. When confronted with the question, J. Lo responded, "I didn't get married because I am pregnant. I got married because it was Saturday." '
  8. Driver's G1 eh? Lauren and Erin how old are you? I just got my G1 a few months ago, yeah the signs are the easy part. You should take the test on the computer instead of on paper b/c it's worded really crappily on paper (comp has illustrations).
  9. I don't see a lot of movies in theatres, but when I do I pay $6.50 at Cineplex Odeon. Not bad, no drug problems or anything. Famous Players costs $12 for a student, so I never go there.
  10. The Return of the King
  11. I read some reviews online before I went and they were all bad, so I wasn't expecting much. Shymalan tried too hard to make it dramatic and scary. I saw it at night so that made it better, but it's basically a love story in a messed up village. I didn't hate it though, that's how I think I sound, but I didn't hate it. It reminded me of a good kid's book I read a few years ago. (Does anyone know what book I mean?)
  12. I saw parts of that too. Actually that was made in 2003 I think, so it wasn't very long ago (she does look a lot younger though huh?). She was in the Sixth Sense too. The little ghost girl who kept throwing up. The girl with the homicidal nanny.
  13. BOYS and girls - good charlotte
  14. Goldilocks and the Three BEARs
  15. It was alright. Not great, not by far. But it was better than I expected. Really corny script and acting though, I've gotta say. They could have done a better job when it came to the point too. Hockey oh I read this thread before I went to see the movie last night. I get the hockey reference now.
  16. Buffy, Angel, Radio Free Roscoe, Sex and the City, Dawson's Creek (up until they left high school and it got all stupid), The Simpsons, Futurama, King of the Hill, South Park, What Not To Wear, Dr. Phil, Are You Afraid of the Dark (I don't watch the re-runs but they're really good the first time around), Ready or Not. I watch a lot of TV. ;) I think I'll start watching CSI and Alias by September.
  17. Hehe I'll post here again. Vindicated by Dashboard Confessional. I love it ;)
  18. Hmm I see well that's cleared up for me now. I just didn't think it sounded like amateur.... OKi doki ;)
  19. Does anyone know what he's saying in the blank? "At midnight I'll be there But I still think you're an *****?" One page that I found said "amateur" but I don't think that's it. Any thoughts?
  20. "honey to the BEE" - billy
  21. Matt Good ;). Justin hawkins is kind of disgusting to me. hehe
  22. What do you think of the band Garbage? Two of their CDs (a pink one and an orange one) are on sale, 2 for $18. Can you recommend any songs to download?
  23. "LOST little girl" - ...... ja rule
