I saw the RHCP in calgary...and it fucking ruled. Flea played the trumpet. I thought they gave a great show with lots of energy. Actually i think that it's one of my favorite concerts of all time, and i'm not even a huge fan of RHCP.

yes i totally agree with this. When i asked this question originally i didn't mean to put movie previews into the commercial category...even though i guess it is. I think i'd rather watch some extra movie previews then to see car commercials

Look at the rest of the countdown...doesn't that tell you what the much music viewers think... I used to watch much music quite often, but i don't anymore. They play the same shit all the time. This is the 4th week that ASR has been on the countdown, and i don't know about this week but the 3 weeks prior they didn't even show the video on the countdown. Instead they played the videos that they play on every other program. I'm mad about this because i wanted to tape the video but couldn't until the going coastal special from last week.

Going back to the topic of smaller venues... ...i like them. First of all i like the age restriction, which eliminates SOME immaturity (sorry to all those under 18 or 19...and i'm not saying that all underaged persons are immature) Secondly i like the idea of having not as many people in general, because honestly those who get the tickets first are the real fans...Therefore it makes for a better and calmer show.

I only pay $6.65, which is pretty fucking cheap. Only 2 hours away from where i live, the price is double. I never buy any snacks at a theater anymore...i always sneek stuff in. OOOH i'm so bad... ...oh come on everybody does it.

How much do you pay for movies in a theater? Do you think it's too high?

I just find that it's frusterating b/c you have to watch commercials when you watch T.V. When you pay $10 or more to only see a 2 hour movie...can't we get a break.
