I just did a cover of advertising on police cars that I posted in the "showcase revue" /end shameless plug.. but anyways it's very simple to play on guitar try that one.

Yes definetly learn gen x wing if thats your fav... its very simple. BUT I would suggest you learn chords first and be able to switch between them fairly well. Memorize the chords just keep practicing the finger positions. To play gen x wing you will need to know F, C, G, Am, Dm. Get those down and you will be able to strum it out. The verse of x-wing alternates between F,C,G, and then to F,C,Am and then back to F,C,G and so on until the chorus which is Dm,F,C,G. The song is also tuned down 1/2 step. Practice every day!! Your fingers will get sore but they have to in order to develop the callous you need on the end of each fingertip. I know I'm terrible at recording and I'm only using the built in mic on my imac to do it... so I'm working with crap equipment.. but I can raise the volume in garageband next time I record something.

Hey guys bigtime lurker here but have been around these boards for quite awhile, and I am a huge MG fan obviously. Anyways I recently did a crappy recording at home on my mac ( i'm a super noob at garageband ) of 'sort of a protest song.' Anyways after I recorded it I realized I had an option enabled that caused the sound to pan from the left speaker to the right throughout the song (lol dumb noob i know). Well here is the song if ppl think it is somewhat bearable to listen to, I will attempt to re-record it the proper way. protest
