Not sure who the bassist was I couldn’t catch his name from the introductions. His sound man, (I think I heard his name as Simon Connolly) for many many years is playing Matt’s guitar parts, Blake Manning on drums, and Jimmy Reid playing guitar.
-
It was news to me that Matt wasn’t able to play guitar. On the flip side I thought it was wonderful his guitar tech finally got to play in the band live, playing Matt’s typical guitar parts. They all played wonderfully together, with just a minor hiccup on Weapon. So glad to see Matt back in the saddle. Lots of classic songs with a new one thrown in. What I did find very very interesting was that he mentioned the unreleased record is coming out on his birthday. I was at the Edmonton show.

Thanks for this, haven't seen this concert in Edmonton before, great sound too.

Got my tickets for Edmonton!

There is (finally) a new post on matthewgood.org, thoughts?

I am really enjoying this set of music. Lost and Found Kids is exceptional, just blown away with that song. All three songs are great and I also enjoy the different soundscape of Hollis, really like the feel of that instrumental. Please let us hear the rest of this compilation!

Did MG record Demos or B Sides during the Moving Walls Sessions?

I am floored with this album very impressive. I've listened to all the demos countless times but that did not ruin any enjoyment from the finished album. - the acoustics of this album are amazing, sounds so full and rich, clear vocals (Matt sounds great), the instrumentation is fantastic - listen to this album with high quality headphones - you'll thank me later (army of lions, cold water, los alamos, cloudbusting) - cold water might just be one of the best songs Matt has done - I love cloudbusting and especially the ending at 3:25 gave me chills

Thanks for the comments, glad you like the them. Yeah those balls were from the local radio station, kind of irritating and annoying I'm sure for the bands!

Paranormal Activity Good movie, might have a hard time sleeping tonight. One part really creeped me out, and normally 'horror' movies don't affect me to much.

Wow I'm having a real hard time importing the cd to my computer without the last two songs having a static noise through them. Anyone else have this issue ?? I have the physical cd and am importing through itunes. I do it all the time with no problems.. what gives with this disc ?? *Edit Now that I am trying to play the actual cd it skips really bad with static noise at the end of Empty's Theme Park while playing the disc.. wtf ?? anyone else with a defective disc ? *Edit #2 Ok I was using my NEW pc to do this but I thought I would give my macbook a try at ripping it and lo and behold it ripped those two songs perfectly. *shrugs* that's technology for you.

Just wondering what you guys think of the new cd, with William DuVall as the lead singer. He's not Layne but does a good job I think. At times I find he does sound like him, but I understand he needs to do his own thing as well. Overall I'm really liking this album. If you're an AIC fan what do you think ?
