  1. Nope. I usually just use the search features on blogs (and Google Blog Search) and get whatever I want. And really when I'm not working I spend a lame amount of time browsing and downloading randomly. I've never even heard of etceteraforums.org. Sounds rad though.
  2. Probably your best bet for indie stuff: http://nodatta.blogspot.com/ http://robinhoodofindiemusic.blogspot.com/ <<< TONS of whatever you could possibly want indie-wise. This one has a lot of electronic stuff, but also as you can see from the genres list, indie also, rock, experimental, whatever: http://sonicprocess.blogspot.com/ Random indie/whatevers: http://mi-tunes.blogspot.com/ http://indie-ground.blogspot.com/ http://www.myinlandempire.co.uk/ <<< Has Animal Collective's Strawberry Jam on the first page, scroll down a bit Hope that helps. If you want blogs with more variety let me know.
  3. Just another good reason not to use iTunes.
  4. Then stop again. This is one of the most immature stories I've read on this message board. If you wanted to not be in a relationship with someone, you should tell them.
  5. Right, exactly.
  6. Why not I didn't think Matt cared about airplay anyway.
  7. That's cool I found all of her stuff streams on her website. She's from Halifax, pretty alright. If you like Sarah Harmer, check it out maybe: http://www.jillbarber.com/
  8. Hi do any of you Canadians have some Jill Barber to share? Thanks.
  9. http://www.myspace.com/airbourne ??? Pretty shitty.
  10. Ha yeah I noticed... I think yours ended up under TK or something bizarre. But your song choices were pretty obvious so I figured it had to be you.
  11. I think I spotted shade's list... cool stuff. Most people's lists are pretty good in general. I like Stroumboulopoulos' thinking.
  12. Ha yeah I just read that piece, he did a great job with it I think. Even though he admits La Cucaracha is not Ween's best, it's still Ween.
  13. Swati is cool. Pretty different. She's a good guitarist. (Also if anyone knows who Emma Pollock is [from the Delgados, also solo], Swati's voice reminds me a lot of her.)
  14. Most of them were uploaded at some point... I'm pretty sure. Also Muttersome, the other Jesu is awesome too. But I've listened to Conqueror a lot more.
  15. Call me crazy, but Iron & Wine - The Shepherd's Dog. Also fantastic: Radiohead - In Rainbows Tomahawk - Anonymous Porcupine Tree - Fear of a Blank Planet/Nil Recurring Animal Collective - Strawberry Jam. Good: Battles - Mirrored 65daysofstatic - The Destruction of Small Ideas Aesop Rock - None Shall Pass Tom McRae
  16. Pilate - For All That's Given, Wasted
  17. And the one I drive OH snap. No but really I like Saturns a lot. They are nice cars.
  18. Saturns are rad cars.
  19. Thanks dude. Luckies you got Boy Come Home, Suburbia AND Fated?!
  20. Ya at least when it's full band I don't care when people talk or shout and shit. At an acoustic show it is a different atmosphere but people (AKA the blond bimbos you mentioned) don't seem to get it especially when they have a couple beers in them.
  21. Yeah, they were both way better. Very good stuff.
  22. I hope those Caribou albums are better than "Andorra." Anyway, Tom Verlaine seems to be a very good guitarist.
  23. Oh sweet. Hey that reminds me I made some rad vegan cupcakes from this book, in case you ever wanted to venture into baking or something. The foreward to the book is written by Sara Quin of Tegan and Sara whoo.
  24. Hey Meg who made the cake?! Cute.
