Yeah I would have to agree. I was just talking to a friend of mine who's still working there, and he just let me know how little staff is actually left. A lot of the original people I started with are gone, which is sad. I guess it's all in the plan to try and save 3 billion a year. I know they were also looking at automation of a lot of there technical support, trying to "nip it in the bud", before the issues happened, and then outsource what ever else couldn't be fixed. I guess in the end everyone is just a dollar sign on a report. So far today has been more BS, like usual. I've been messing around with customer for the morning, one lady was pretty nice, so I helped her out with her issues no charge.. which made her weekend.. The people I usually pick up the phone and say "Thank goodness your not in India" I think I'm going to start replying I am in India and I resent those comments towards my people.

So this friday, I'm done my job as a technical support agent. I talk to the general public about their computer issues. Now I was trying to see if there was anything humourous I could maybe tell or do to my customer base... Any Ideas?

In my line of work I talk to the vast majority of people who are infected. how they do it I'll never know, I know when I've tried to get infected for program testing purposes it's next to near impossible for me to find any.

Well if your just looking to turn the wireless card off at night, there should be a way to Disable the Wireless card. On Dell's it's FN+F2 to disable the wireless card, on my HP there's a button or switch on the front **some are on the side** Or you can open up the network connections windows right click on the wireless adapter and choose disable all of which are going to turn the wireless card off. And as for Spybot I'm not sure how upto date with Vista they are. A few good anti spyware programs for Vista spyware removal are Counter Spy *Sunbelt Software* And Superantispyware. Both work well with vista. I've been running Vista Since it's release and have had no issues thus far with malware or viruses on the computer, all I'm running is AVG Antivirus Free 7.5 and Windows Defender. The UAC **If still enabled** is to help prevent again unwanted software randomly installing it's self into your computer, since it may require administrative rights to install, you would have to accept to install the malware at that point in time.
