I like the layout of the new site. It's simple and concise; easy to find what you're looking for. I think Matt's probably a bit of a perfectionist, always striving, which is why he keeps playing around with the website, but it's probably also what makes him such an incredible artist!

Matt did mention being interested in writing a whole album on bass awhile back on MBlog, but I think it was just a passing idea. I think it's cool for him to experiment with other instruments, but I think the guitar will always be his main passion.

I travelled all the way to Victoria from the BC interior to see Matt, but then it got cancelled. I don't know if I'll be able to afford to come back to see him in August,even though I want to so badly!!!!

To me, Fated is about the influence of the media on your mind, leading to a wild imagination, and paranoia, and desperately wanting to be free from those influences. Next song: Truffle Pigs

I don't hate any of his songs, but I do find myself skipping over "Rico" or "Middle-Class Gangsters" once in a while.

I think it's our responsibilities as fans to spread the word about the real Matthew Good. He's not the same guy now who the media misrepresented in the past as being difficult, or an asshole. Sure, he's outspoken, but his opinions are highly researched and he's passionate about what he believes in. I admire his devotion to what he believes in and it's hard these days to find artists that take a stand on an issue and verbalize their believes. Music shouldn't be about saying what the general (uneducated) public will agree with, which is what most pop artists seem to do. I admire Matt for his opinions. People who don't like Matt and his music, probably just aren't smart enough to appreciate intelligent, creative music.
