yeah for some reason the calgary decided to reprint a story originally from the vancouver sun (?) the day of the show... losers... anyways, the new direction from matt should be interesting, i'm looking forward to a tour with shows resembling the ottawa acoustic show - sounds like it was a blast to me
-
;) har har har... i'll just have to be more forward next time and get to the front...

lucky duck! i would kill (not really) for a pick or drumstick or setlist... i was just too far back from the stage (likely right behind you anna) excellent excellent show - i really enjoyed advertising on police cars, which is weird because its usually not one of my faves, but the bass had a bit of a flange on it i believe, sounded awesome - rich is the man.

holy crap i almost wet myself just now - douche vader = hilarious -
here's a few i like: "Its sunny outside, and George Bush isn't my president. What more could one ask for?" "This world is filled with things that will never make sense. Trying to make so much sense of them will only result in one thing: Spending the rest of your life trying to remember what you were like before any of it mattered." "I'm going to go and buy myself a bottle of something, find a nice quiet rock somewhere in the hills, and have one last drink with Steve. And then, my life having been made better by knowing him, I'm going to go and live it." "To assume is to fail miserably at acting intelligent enough to know when to keep your mouth shut." "Actions speak louder than words. And sometimes inaction speaks louder than both of them." there you go, it amazes me how deep he is... i read the mblog and i go whoaaaaaaaa now that's good writing.

agreed, the L&G were very unique. an interesting choice as an opener i'd say. tough beans about getting the run around from security, a yellow t-shirt and they think they own your soul... a little respect would be nice

I'd like to say that the show was excellent, i enjoyed myself emmensely, and on the topic of drunk retards, rest assured ravenous, a few of them will wake up tommorw with bruised ribs as i had to nail a few of them to protect my girlfriend.... i thought the Ladies and Gentlemen were pretty good, that moustache guy was sheer comedy... Matt was excellent as usual, it never fails to amaze me - he walks out on stage and i go "oh my god! i can't believe he's really here!" i was a hairs breadth away from one of pats drumsticks, but alas a drunk moron was in front of me... BOOO!!!! anyways theres my 2 cents, goodnight all!
