Xiu Xiu La For

I hated Slipknot until i was well into puberty. i bought S/T for "wait and bleed," hated the album, then bought Iowa, loved it, and went back and now they're on of my favourite bands. I also hated the Used on first listen. EDIT: oh man, i despised Mindless Self Indulgence the first time i played their Frankenstein Girls cd. Like, despised as in i felt the urge to go to their homes and kill their parents for birthing the musicians, before killing the actual band. Now they're one of my top 10 favourite bands.

emo was made as "emotional hardcore".. that's the real genre, not the pussy "emo" stuff that's released now like mcr and shit.. that doesn't really fit what emo was supposed to be.. because if you think about it, all music is emotional in one way... liek summer said on the oc, it's just one guitar and a lot of complaining i love how you claim to know what emo is, and then cite mcr as 'pussy emo stuff.' get a life, douche. wow, that was the shortest phase i've ever gone through. i ripped three songs off of it, and then sold it.

what a great book. it's basically a schitzophrenic look at a man's life, and random outbursts toward our pop/consumer culture, but it's much weirder than that. oddly coordinated and delicously sexcellent. i'll lend you my copy if you want. I've had good times with ebay. my only complaints are 1) when you win something you found somewhere else cheaper 2) that paypal takes three years to go through 3) some assholes on there charge practically nothing for the product, but the shipping charge is 700% more than the actual shipping cost. i bought a pair of plugs for a buck american. they cost $5.50 with shipping. A pair of plugs would cost like 50 cents. (i rambled)
