the malls here open at ten.. i was home and had it started by ten eighteen.. $12 is a pretty reasonable price too. i'm not entirely sure what i think yet, but there are some really good songs. to be honest though, i'm more excited for his next, just because major labels probably wont be in the picture.

i'm holding out to buy it first day, that and the new Bright Eyes. It's so early to start talking about album of the year, but The Ataris have got me by the balls right now. I don't think it's album of the year sharp, but i can't stop listening to that, or Kaddisfly for that matter. I'm looking forward to MG, Dark Tranquility, Nine Inch Nails, Leftover Crack, Dimmu Borgir, the Used and Drop Dead, Gorgeous. Apparently the new Blanche is out, but i haven't heard it.

A) how does one go about choosing a motherboarrd? i need somewhere to start. B) if i get a harddrive, enclosure and plug it in, can i install iTunes on that harddrive and play music through my comp or does the program need to be on the comp to access the files on the second harddrive?

well this seems like a neat idea. http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/proddetai...ogon=&langid=EN i came across this bad boy, as a badn-aid solutions, more or less, i need to get everything off my laptop harddrive before this bitch crashes. is this any good? how much would this ADS drive enclosur cost and how would i go about getting my laptop to recognize it? just with usb cords? and the shuffle thing, i think you're right, i definitely do hear a lot of the same stuff, but i wasn't sure if that was because i've never had more than 500 or so songs on here, and they were mostly full albums. iTunes has a dealie in the advanced option section to make the shuffle more random, as for whether it works... thanks for all the help guys, i really want to learn this shit. Sparq, how do i make sure the parts are compatible, and, this may be a stretch, but would you be able to compare the price of building a certain computer to buying essentially the same thing in a store? like would an average $1500 store-bought comp cost less than $1300?

i don't know a lot about computers. Will this be hard? The idea of making my own computer sounds fucking awesome, and i have the money to get started. is it impossible for a beginner to do? i do learn best by doing, so this sounds fun. And as for shuffle, i do notice it's usually clumps of artists, but what do you mean that it doesn't do a good job of actually shuffling? is there a reason, or a formula behind it?

i can get a discount through a friend, so i'm buying it from Futureshop, but i don't know what to get. i want to keep all of my music, pics and other files either on an external harddrive, or i migh save for a new comp, as this one is shit. does anyone know roughly how many gigs i'd need for like 600+ cd's, or is it even worthwile to keep that much music on any harddrive? i would love to have my entire library on shuffle, and eventually get an mp3 player too... and if i should go for an external harddrive, what brands and storage sizes are best? thanks.
