I hope he plays the the fine art of falling apart

Most songs that i hear on the radio follow the same formula. Some are catchy, but they lack the lyrical depth to make them songs that i can listen to over and over and get something new out of them every time...like matt say's "music is boring"
-
Some of lyrics are hard to figure out but that's what makes them so intriging, i'd rather listen to the lyrics i don't understand than 99% of the other music out there

Hello Time Bomb should have been on the list

"There are hockey fans, and then there are leaf fans" I play ice hockey and enjoy watching skilled players play hockey, that's why i'm a red wings fan, have been for 13 years and will never change. The leafs aren't a terrible team, they have a bad coach who's to "old school" to understand how to compete in the new NHL. However i think my dislike of the leafs comes from the fact that there on CBC every week and you have to listen to all the announcers talk about how great they think they are...it's just sickening

weapon - best video ever

U2 too has some classic songs, but to listen too for any substance they suck...overrated

I agree it was an odd choice for an acoustic song, but experimentation like that makes the same song have two completely different sounds/feels to it, like the rooms version of North American for Life

Where And When Did You First Hear Matthewgood
Steveo91 replied to davidedward's topic in Matthew Good
I remember hearing 'load me up' on the radio and it just got stuck in my head. So i downloaded it, and also downloaded 'apparitions', a song that i really liked but had only heard a couple times and didn't know who it was by. It was enough to make me go out and buy the cd. Since those two songs were on different cds i decided to buy both (BM & Underdogs). I remember thinking, "i hope these aren't the only good songs on the cd's." After i listned to both cd's a couple times i was hooked, and have been ever since. -
This is really a tough question to answer, each CD has so many amazing songs...overall though if i had to choose one to listen to for the rest of my life it would have to be Avalanche. The variation of song styles on the CD is truely unique, each song offers something new to the listner. LP's 1. Avalanche 2. Audio of Being 3. Beautiful Midnight 4. Underdogs 5. White Light 6. Last of the Ghetto Astronauts EP's 1. Loser Anthems 2. Raygun 3. Lo-Fi B-Sides
