I saw "The Fountain" last night, and it was beautiful. 3 narratives in one, I felt like it really captured the urgency and contrasting calmness that surrounds the central themes of the movie. Personally for me, it seemed a little confusing at points, but when you sit and think about it afterwards, everything comes together, and you know. And you feel at peace. The cinematography was gorgeous and the use of special effects were very tastefully done. I also have to mention that the music, composed by Clint Mansell is absolutely wonderful. Organic and haunting, it made the movie's impact that much stronger. I highly recommend it, if you enjoy artistic, metaphor/theme based movies. The only qualm I may have with it, is that at times, it seemed a very tad cheesy, almost pretentious at times.

<3 Kenny Vs. Spenny. Now that it's on Showcase though, I've found that they seem to be amping up to almost ridiculous proportions. Drugging Spenny with LSD? That was almost hard to watch O.o The teabagging was also kinda groady >.> Anyone else think that when Matt Good's having one of his scrubbier days, he looks a lot like Kenny? XD

Ok, after numerous goading from friends and friends' parents, I watched tonight episode, with no prior knowledge of the series. And Jebus H. Christ, I'm fucking HOOKED. I was horribly confused for most of it, but was half filled in. I now have 9 past episodes to gorge myself on. Why didn't anyone tell me Hiro was so goddamn adorable? I would have started watching everso much sooner...
