The Curse Of The Golden Flower.
Gotta love Asian movies and their 45 million dollar budgets to tell a story that inevitably will make you go "What? No... EWWW..."
WTF? It used to be edible?
I remember when all the kids used to pretend they were smoking, when they ate Popeye sticks
I remember when everyone had a billion pogs
I remember when rhythm sticks/juggling sticks were so in
I remember when The Beat used to play only Hip Hip/R&B
I remember when I used to trade Sailormoon cards with all my friends
I remember when the thing to do was sneak up behind all the girls and snap their bras. Coincidently, I remember when someone did that to me, only to realise I wasn't wear a bra. They made a grossed out face at me ;)
I remember when everyone wore tearaway track pants
I remember when I thought Monifah's "Touch It" was such a dirty song
I remember when everyone had a Tamagotchi or some shitty ass virtual pet
I remember when they banned Red Rover in our schoolyard
I remember playing spin the bottle in elementary school, when it was raining outside. We had 6 boys out of a class of 25.
I Remember The Titans
haha the movie is an allegory for men. Awesome to look at, often leaves a lot to be desired.
Apparently, it was a shot-for-shot adaptation of the comic book too, which explains the "awesome photograph" moments.
I'd watch it again too, I want to check it out in IMAX actually.
I felt like a grew chest hair just watching it.
Great movie. Visually spectacular. Killing people never looked so beautiful.
Although, as cool as it made everything look, I felt like all the slow mo was kind of over done.
