I believe in God. I was raised a Catholic, and some aspects of Catholicism, helps me conceptualize just exactly what I believe in. That being said, I'm not an avid church goer, nor do I agree with a lot of things the Catholic church has to say. I just know that deep in my heart, I believe there is some dude who has my back. And that makes me feel safe, and happy.

Operative word there being "had". I hope to God you don't shop there anymore. I have to admit though, for the short time they had girls' clothes, their stuff was cute. But the guys' clothes can go to hell now, srsly.

Man...everyone in here is so angry O.O I used to work at Laura and Randy River, and oddly enough, we'd always have stuff in the back, so often, customers lucked out... The only thing that probably bothered me about working retail, was having to see really fat people try on clothes that obviously don't fit them :S and then have them say to you "Wow! I look great in this!"... Honestly, if it paid A LOT better, I'd love to work Women's clothing retail again. People come in, and for a short while, you get to play personal shopper/stylist. It was pretty fun. Working at a natural Pet Foods store is pretty fun too, because you get to play with people's dogs and it's nice to see animal lovers who are generally concerned about feeding their pets good food. You...you guys are going to kick me out of this thread, aren't you?

Heavy Metal is an awesome movie.

Actually. It really was. And Ally, I was fine, but Kev got bitchy over your choice of leather cords at your store.
-
...we just bought some leather cord there yesterday...

As a complete Anti-Harry Potter person, I was dragged kicking and screaming into the latest movie, IMAX 3D version, last night. I have previously watched the first 2 movies, so I wasn't too lost, plus, my friend made it a point to abridge everything for me, in the 1 hour line-up. That being said, I can't say I was enthralled by the movie at all, but I'm maybe less Anti-Potter then I was before, as it was a generally enjoyable way to waste 2:30hrs, and 3D made it dorky and fun. Visually, it was very fun to watch. It certainly made no fan out of me, and you won't see me reading the books, but I'll be less argumentative, when next movies come out, I think. SPOILER (Highlight to View) That part in the movie, where Harry Potter's like "I'm SO ANGRY at EVERYTHING", I just wanted to yell "Welcome to puberty, you daftard. Voldemorte be damned." and Harry Potter can't kiss for shit.

Unfortunately not, I might be able to get some, he played it at the show he did here in Vancouver recently. My friend got a lot of video from it. I'll see what I can do

9 songs. Sort of. GODDAMN that's a bad movie. SO MUCH UNSIMULATED SEX that WASN'T HOT. Fuck. Just because you mash up sex with modern British Rock 'n Roll music, doesn't mean you're being artistically smart. You're just being pretentious.

haha, if you like that bootleg, you should hear him sing Gnarls Barkley's "Crazy"!
-
I believe it was the Bee Gees

I love that movie. So sweet.

David Usher - Fast Car Robbie Williams's "Swing When You're Winning" album trumps Michael Buble's swing covers. Destiny's Child - Emotion Marilyn Manson - Sweet Dreams (But, only mildly, I love the original). I generally really like Marilyn Manson's covers... Does Moulin Rouge's whole soundtrack count as a cover? Cos that movie is freaking awesome. The Sundays - Wild Horses I was told once that Vertical Horizon's "Best I Ever Had", is a cover of a country song...I love that song though Amy Lee's cover of Heart-shaped box is not bad...

Well...that was stomach turning... But, I completely understand your points. My boss was telling me though, that somewhere in BC, there is a farm that makes fois gras (or maybe it was veal, I can't remember) as humanely as possible...

Shortbus. Very sweet, and hot in some places, if you can get past all the cock. Sook-Yin Lee needs to shave.
-
I was gonna say I hope to see both of you there, but I have a feeling you two are going to just turn and glare at me :S

Man, yeah, that sucks. 2nd level ;) Maybe I should have just waited till Friday >.>

-
TRANSFORMERS. OMG. ;)

Hard Candy. Totally a movie you could sit around and talk about for a good hour or two.
