Lately I've been listening to a lot of stuff that I've played in band at school, but it's starting to get old for me, so I want to find some new music. Anyone out there want to recommend anything good that they've played or heard? I'd appreciate it. PS: listen to 'October' by Eric Whitacre. Best. Song. Ever.

I agree. There's some good rap and hip-hop out there that doesn't get played on the mainstream stations. I don't see how people can classify bands like Good Charlotte and Simple Plan as emo, when they clearly are just crappy pop bands.
