I just placed a guy in the worst job ever. Executive Director of a 300 person department that is going to restructure down to 180. I've done this sort of thing before, and it never goes well...but he's getting 167k to do it. His first round of clippings is in two weeks... so his first one on one's with some of these people will be his second to last one on one's with them. I advised him to mix in people he won't be letting go, in this first round of one on ones... it'll soften his image, and take some of the anxiety off of the concept of a meeting with him. Can you say job title equals "Grim Reaper"?

Owen, what I really should say, is bluntness. This thread is getting to be quite entertaining. It's less about any sort of size, gender, or anything of that sort, and more about the rules of attraction. As well as self-presentation. I've seen some young ladies that were a few pounds heavier than my usual fare, and still found them attractive. Attraction has a lot to do with how you carry yourself. You could be pure hotness personified, but if you walk slouched, with your shoulders hunched, I probably won't notice you. A good friend of mine, is 6'6, 250, and because of the way she carries herself, guys are always asking if they can climb her. It's pretty funny, but really it says a lot about the power of self image.

I agree with you overall Tony. Token resistance is just that, there will be a meaningful dialogue, and strong words...but if it did come down to a world court trial, that would be the extent of it. After watching the way things have unfolded over the last few weeks, I have to be honest, the chances of a world court trial are shrinking...I think how the next administration addresses the current international issues in it's first 100 days, will have a very big impact on foreign affairs for years to come.
