  1. Damn, to be a fly on the wall with you and Garsk, Az...it must be a comedy writer's dream.
  2. I did it because everyone else was.
  3. I was watching the parade with the kids, while I was prepping Flightless Bird Day Dinner. The girl and I were hysterical!!! Then I had to explain Foster's home to her. I'm glad someone here knows about it too. I was beginning to think I was the only one. I was trying to figure out the connection...it was just so fucking bizarre. Maybe, Never gonna give up on imaginary friends??? Also, is it me, or is he wearing a massive hair piece there?
  4. Dry cereal, a mix of Cracklin Oat Bran, and Quaker Oatmeal Squares w/ a hint Brown Sugar, and an Egg Nog Latte
  5. This is great. Evan, maybe we should form one for Men of Style and Taste.
  6. I feel that way about him and Hemingway as well. The Sun Also Rises, is one of my favorite books as well. They both use simple language, to spectacular effect.
  7. The last 5 in the car on the way to work this AM, in the slush...(It snowed last night) A Single Explosion - MG(LIve AT Massey) Van Halen - Running With The Devil Led Zepplin - Whole Lotta Love The Rolling Stones - Under My Thumb I'm A Window - MG(Live At Massey) And just now - Chef - Chocolate Salty Balls
  8. Excellent theories, especially yours dave.
  9. Didn't an episode of Futurama start just like that. Thanksgiving leftovers!!!!
  10. And that's after they repackage and put it on a discount table and resell it at 35% off.
  11. A section of Cantelope, some grapes, and a soft boiled egg.
  12. I'm with AZ...but yes, who the hell spends $100 on a mouse???? That's just crazy. I built my desktop, and have been just uprgading it every two years to keep it speedy, and functional. With the discount I get on parts from my friend's shop, I spend about $150 every couple of years, and considering he gives me an additional discount for returning the used parts, I make out pretty damned good.
  13. That's what everyone I know is saying.
  14. O-K Owen.... ;) just teasing
  15. Green grapes, strawberries, cheese, and a very fruity wine, with the girl for lunch at the museum.
  16. Of course, leaving the door open to challenge said sources...
  17. Have you read "The Pearl" yet? It's one of his best.
  18. Man Crush admitted above ^
  19. I was merely pointing out possible arguments against said biography being sold for profit. All of which have loopholes to get around, but could be used to tie up said project for awhile. Also True Hollywood Story still has to credit their sources.
  20. I have been avoiding it...not sure I want to hear Guns N Roses without Gunners. I mean really. I loved the band as it was...This isn't that band, this is Axl aka Asshole Rose, and a bunch of hired guns. Granted he's got Tommy Stinson from the Replacements(one of my favorite bands) with him, but still...there's a reason why this took 13 years...I was huge fan of the band...not just the lead singer. Duff, Slash, Izzy, Steven or Matt, made this band TIFUCKINGTANIC!!! Axl was the icing that made them a rocking assed cake... Unlike Alice In Chains without Layne, this is purely a fucking solo Album, by a long time sufferer of LSD(Lead Singer Disease). He's using the GNR brand to it's fullest potential...because no one would give a damn about Axl Rose solo. I voted for 3...even though I like Sodamned, I hate Axl for doing this.
  21. Cross Country - James Patterson I love the Alex Cross novels, great gruesomely cool reading.
  22. I think the point is that sense it is an unauthorized bio, without credible sources, such as the subject or those close to the subject, then all content would be subject to being considered libel. furthermore, without credit being given to said sources, then it could also be considered plagiarism. Which in turn could open the author to additional legal action from said sources. Furthermore, if the offer intends to make revenue from said publication, then all sources who didn't sign a release would be entitled to a percentage of said revenue, and furthermore, the subject would be able to file an injunction to cease the publication and sale, and would be entitled to any revenue the author received prior to said cease and desist order. Personally, I would be deeply pissed in Matt's shoes.
