  4. I really am looking forward to seeing it. Most things that should be cute and cuddly are quite dangerous...Koala's look really cute...but one of my Frat Brothers, who grew up down under...said they were murderous little buggers.

  11. Great avatar Kevin...I'm not expecting much from the Transformers movie myself...but I'll go to give it a shot...I just hope the characterizations are closer to the originals...all the new ones, except Beast Wars...lack personality. Top 5 Marvel Movies 5) Daredevil 4) All Three Blades 3) Punisher 2) Both Spidermans 1) All Three XMEN!!!!
  12. Tracy is absolutely right. Some people jump from company to company, in a relatively short time when I see that on a resume, that person has a snowballs chance in hell of working for me. What you're doing is pretty admirable. You're just trying to advance your career at the same company. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that. Most companies place a high value on potentially long term employees. Good luck to you, I hope you get it. As for your boss, she really has no say in this...if it were her in your place, she'd do the same thing. How do you think she got to be your boss? She sure didn't do it, by just being a teller in the same place for millenia...

  14. No love for the dirty hands of the the American Gov't, right now... To quote Dennis Miller, "I don't mean to go off on a rant here"...
  15. I did toys for tots and I picked four Angel gifts off the tree at church. Charity is never a bad thing.
  16. It has definitely been awhile. My youngest sister was like 7 at the time.
  17. Hell yes I did...cried my eyes out...I was almost 15...
  18. A lucid and well written response. You'll find no arguments to your's or Matt's statements. I have always been baffled by the Iraq situation...that it started and has continued, has always struck me as a total breakdown in Democracy. No one voted to approve it, the people were not allowed a part of the decision...It has always seemed to me that this was not a war about freedom, or democracy...but about oil, money, and greed...and not that of the majority, but of the very small wealthy minority, who stand to gain, from Oil contracts, munitions contracts, building contracts, etc... I'm not a conspiracy theorist by any means, I do however question the the fact that it was known that something was happening, prior to 9/11...and nothing was done to prevent it. I question the fact that there were out and out lies, about the reasons for invading Iraq...and no one has been been held officially accountable... I question the fact that President Bush has lied to the American people and the people of the world, repeatedly and nothing has been done about it...yet we can attempt to impeach, Clinton for getting a goddamned blow job. America's Political face is an ugly one...
  19. I wear my Marvin The Martian dress socks, to every important meeting... Amen to the feel of new socks...It's like old sweat pants and sweat shirts, just a kewl feeling. I got two new basses for Xmas last year...so I'm good equipment wise...
  20. I watch CNN, and MSNBC, I also go to MSN and CNN.com. I don't read print media very often, when I do, it's the Wall St. Journal. I watch local news in the mornings.
  21. Thank you, it sure was... Been meaning to pick the DVDs up...the just released the 20th anniversary addition of the movie...god I feel old...
  22. Spoken like a true college kid. For me, i mostly asked for cash, an mp3 player ( because my old one was one of those first mp3 players that now bites the big banana) and so i also asked for socks, annd uhh yah, thats about it. Im going to buy myself stuff since most of my "presents" are online. It's been awhile since college, but I remember it well...especially Freshman year...always running out of stuff, and never having time to get more. As old as I am, I still ask for socks and boxers.
  23. Nancy, Diane is right. Not all Americans find this behavior appropriate or acceptable. I find it deplorable, and you'll find that most Americans feel the same. I see this video, and the video of the British Soldiers beating the teens, and the prison scandals...and I am disgusted by it. If you said "No wonder why everyone hates the American Government.", I wouldn't find much fault with that, I personally feel that my gov't has been corrupted and perverted to serve the will of rich, greedy old men, who would willingly sacrifice the lives of thousands, to continue to get richer. I have a number of friends and relatives in the Persian Gulf right now. I support them and anyone else over there, I just don't support their mission and the reasons they're there.
  24. No dissin on Bumble Bee... Top 5 reasons why the original Transformers show was kewl 5)Starscream was the first gay robot 4)"Me Grimlock" Anything Grimlock said was kewl 3)Soundwave - The guy carried his own army of cassette bots...there were like 5 or 6 of them, Laserbeak, Rumble, Ravage, and like two more. 2)Was Megatron not the kewlest bad guy ever? So kewl the Insecticons had to say his name multiple times, just to talk to him? 1)Optimus Prime...Nuff Said...I cried in the theatre when he died, cried again the first time he was resurrected, and cheered and Cried when he was resurrected for good the second time...
  25. That's Delicious, Nutritious biodegradable cat litter... by the way Tracy, there's pictures of me on my myspace... look for the "bunny rabbit ears" http://www.myspace.com/61182851
