  1. yes the american's do send money to israel who do kill innocent people, but armies mostly target military target, i.e. buildings, weapons and personal. saddly they miss more then they should. were as "terrorist" target people, i.e. the world trade center. the point i was trying to make before was. Do you not care about other conflicks in the world? or do you just dont like the United States?
  2. it had great lines, it had violence, it had great acting, it had a great (weird) plot, just needed some nudity.
  3. if we are still going to bring up iraq in this debate, can we please look at iraq's track record? lets see there was... -the Iran-Iraq war in the 1980's -Iraq's invasion of Kuwait in the early 1990's -Iraq's scud bombings of Israel and Saudi Arabia -Iraq's funding of PLA and other groups in Palestine who kill innocent people -Iraq's uses of chemical weapons on it's on people. -Iraq's former rape and torture room's ...but wait, the US, the UK, France and Gremany gave them weapons during the Iran-Iraq war, so we will forget all those things. (sorry i had to beat someone to the punch) With all the things we can say about the US and Iraq, we can say about... Russia and checneya China and Tibet The Sudan with Dafore etc.... but none of them involve the US so who really cares?
  4. i love how is coversation went from harper in afganistan to the war in iraq. but i will say it again. i do like the fact that Prime Minister Harper (man that feels weird to say) has taken a liking to the Armed Force's. And this is after the three days of attacks against Canadian troops, with one just being killed in a fire fight. Considering the fact that last two liberal governments just robbed the military of equipment and personal, hopefully Harper will put some back in.
  5. how i envy mrs jesus.... anyone want to buy a ticket for the ottawa show?
  6. ummm... was i for the invasion of iraq, no. i didnt see any reason too like 99% of the world, because we couldnt/didnt see the WMD's. Should the US pull out now? hell no! they have made there mess, and they have to live with it, and clean it up. as for the WMD's, i watched the Daily Show with John Stewart two mondays ago, he had a former Iraq General of the Air Force, who said on air, that he knows that the Chemical Weapons have been flown to Syria, and has written a book about it. So maybe there was? but he is the enemy, so why should we beleive him? also, who do fight an ideal who wants to destroy your way of life?
  7. i have seen it a few time and really enjoy it, wish i could watch it more often ;)
  8. Well, when your the leader of a country, no matter if it is the US, Saudi Arabia, Russia or North Korea for that matter. You swear an oath to protect you people. And if someone attacks you, you fight back. I am sure if Canada attacks Mexico, Mexico would have fought back. There is know way in hell, as a leader of a country, if you are attacked, you would turn the other cheek. so how is that racist?

way to go, here's hopeing that you dont become like my room-mate and decided that the girl down the hall is more important then class, and fail out of an easy program because you spend 24 hours a day with her...

  11. see, here is where I disagree with your point of "democracy" being a used to make our wars justified, and the using it to benefit our needs. Back in the 1930's Germany had this little guy named Hitler who started a bunch of wars. The western democratic world declared war on him to throw him out of power, and set up a "democratic" governments. Fast forward to 2003, America and British go off to war to fight against another guy who was wagging war with his neighbors. And the American and British look for help for a friend who went through the same thing, Germany. But the German government said no, they wouldn
  12. i rented puddle cruiser by broken lizard, the same guys who gave us super trooper and club dread. 102 minutes long, and i didnt even get teh 40 minute mark. billed as funny, but when you dont laugh at all...
  13. then what about the former Yugoslavia? i mean, you can say the same things about the afgan mission as you can about all the mission to the former yugoslavia at the time. we didnt have the UN with that war, it was NATO. We still have troops there, we have fought land battles there. but is it because that no Canadian troops have died in the former Yugoslavia lately that we dont talk about it? or the fact that there no natural resource in the former yugoslavia that it isnt talk about? or maybe it is because democracy is starting there... just asking
  14. wow, it is kind of nice to see a Prime Minister see or knowing that Canada has troops. This is the first time in a hell of a long time a prime minister has actually been on the front lines of a war/peacekeeping mission. As for the trip and the mission itself.... the trip was a lot like Bush's trip to Iraq, know one knew about it, and the both said a lot of the same thing. As for the mission itself. I don

  20. other, as much as i like family guy and south park, i really like the daily show more, i didnt vote for Seinfeld, or Chappelle Show cause they dont make them anymore. american dad is ok, as for the simpson's it was great up till season 8, then jumped the shark, as everyone (including the writing staff) knows. as for friends, it was just a total chick show, i mean, there was know way in hell the ross could have dated a girl like rachel in real life.
  21. who cares? i guess Paul McCartney, other then that, i dont, if they want to make a living that way, it their choice, cause if know one was buying the fur, then they wouldnt kill them, unless it was some really sick/fun eco-tourism vacation thing.
