Ok so The Night Opus & The Commoner's Guide To Suicide are the 2 stories that are in that pamphlet. On the back it says "This is a companion to the first printing of At Last There Is Nothing Left To Say, published by Insomniac Press". Guess it is self explanitory when you look at it. I guess this means I don't have an original printing of At Last There Is Nothing Left To Say as both stories are in there.

I'm not too sure where that Night Opus is from, I found it on ebay a few years ago and didn't know it existed before then. Does anyone know the history behind it? I don't know why everyone is complaining about the set at Virgin Fest. Obiously it was a set of his hits and you had to expect that due to the type of show that it was. With the direction Matt is going these days I feel lucky to see a show like this because who knows how many more chances we will get to see Matt just rock out to the old favorites. By the way, it was great to see some of the new songs with a full band. Also the crowd did suck with too many drunks and people passing out left right and centre. Maybe Virgin Fest will learn to give their patrons a few more options in food, beverage and even booze! P.S. I hope Matt Good hung out with Dallas Green and talked about doing something together. (I can wish)

After reading 11 pages of so called "albums of the year" I think i will add a new perspective to the list. 1. Anberlin - Cities (the absolute best album this year, emotionally charged rock from the best band you don't listen to yet but soon will because they landed a record deal with Universal Republic because of this CD) 2. Evans Blue - The Pursuit Begins When This Portrayal Of Life Ends (the only hard rock band that credits Matthew Good as one of their main song writing influences) 3. Matthew Good - Hospital Music (many people say this album is forgettable but everytime you put it on you remember why it was one of the most important albums of the year, hope it wins a juno)

With all the new songs mentioned in this thread nobody has mentioned the possibility of Metal Airplanes, Matt's most recent song, being on the album. Either way, if Matt includes these songs or not, I think we are all excited about Matt at least being a good enough state of mind to be working on music again. Maybe this is just him venting out his frustrations with this past year or the state of the world, but I see it as a positive step in the right direction for him.

I just picked up Marians Trench's debut album today. The band is on Chad Kroeger's 604 Records and when I went through the liner notes I noticed the CD was produced by Dave Genn. Here is a quick thought, why not record the 3 Vancouver shows at the end of the solo acoustic tour and make a live CD/DVD. It would be a fitting end to the tour and Matt's stint with Universal. As for Matt's future maybe he should start his own label, just an idea. Maybe he can help some great Canadian artists get a start in the industry.

Not the luckiest, just a dedicated collector. I still want more but can't find alot of it.
