Does MG ever come to the US? I would love if he did. Anyone? I haven't checked lately, but every time I look it seems he's only playing around Canada ;)

Anyone watch any of his old samurai movies? They were basically westerns and had huge influence on later westerns. Fistfull of Dollars and Last Man Standing were remakes of Yojimbo, for example. And Kurosawa had a penchant for using my favorite actor, Toshiro Mifune (until they had a falling out after Red Beard). Anyway, any more fans out there?

Oh yeah, this show is amazing! I just finished watching season 2 a few days ago... great stuff (though I wish it hadn't been cut down to 18 episodes - more people need to watch this!)

I think I probably laughed the most during Jay and Silent Bob...

I think the fact that B&W was used for the flashbacks made it much more powerful, not to mention that the curb scene wouldn't have been half of what it was without this.

Yeah, I saw one at a similar price on auction on ebay before... Most I ever spent on media (so far) was $220 on a copy of Criterion Collection Salo (but it's worth more like 300+)

I spent a LOT of time months ago getting several of the History Teacher songs from the demos, but I never got them all.. and a lot of them skipped to boot. I don't get why he doesn't want to re-release this stuff, it's SO GOOD. I'd much rather have a CD recording (even if it was only mastered from a casette) than an mp3.

Since we're on this topic, what is "Dusk"? Haven't heard that one.

Since people are bringing up Robert Rodriguez... I gotta respect that guy. The DGA told him he couldn't give Frank Miller co-directing status and he quit, basically saying "f-u"... now, had he been a much more independent director it would have been a bigger deal, but still, it's nothing to scoff at!

Most of the movies listed here are recent... I like a lot of the recent movies too, but some of you should try checking out some older stuff (not to mention foreign)!!!
