Yes, great movie... I'm trying to motivate my friends to go see it again tonight, actually ;) I think it first premiered here at the local film fest also, which is pretty cool.

Running Scared - I liked it

FAR below my expectations... Aside from the fact that it was mostly reiteration throughout (I expected it to be 100 comedians doing their take on it, not talking about the joke's history), the editing and camera work was rediculously bad.

"The Matador", it was good. Before that "Hiroshima Mon Amour", it was excellent.

I don't think I went to the theater 10 times last year.. I saw The Matador tonight, it was good.

Battle Royale... Anyway, I recommend stuff from Bergman, Tarkovsky, Kurosawa, Argento, Clouzot, older Weir (now he's here), Fulci, Suzuki, Fassbinder, and probably several more...

Have you seen Red Beard? Course, Mifune is always great... I watched The Bad Sleep Well recently, good stuff.
