A friend of mine really likes canadian idol and thus found this band. I heard some songs and wasnt that impressed.

She has a point. Its harder for someone to cover Lennon, but more because hes dead and has a giant following and legacy. Bigger than McCartney's for sure.

Im definetly a fan of their newest cd. It's really well done musically and vocally, and you can really tell they have grown since their last cd. I cant say im a fan of the old cd, but this new one is definetly one of the best releases this year.

Everything on it I already had and i think its probably the worst b-sides collection in a while. Easy access to all the songs on it, all over the net. That isnt b-sides, thats putting songs from the net to a cd and selling it. How about more demos, unreleased outtakes, etc.

Yeah yeah, people will laugh but I do like them. And I hate to be a scenester but I do like their older stuff more. I think John Nolan was a better writer. I like Straylight Run a lot now too, though they are quite different from TBS.

Jarhead could be good. Capote looks good, but i also feel like i could be incredibly annoyed with how well Phillip Seymour Hoffman plays him. Thumbsucker does look like one i might see. Everything is Illumated also looked cool, despite the lame name.

Batman 1989 is definetly my favourite out of all of them...but Batman Begins is pretty close. The others are pretty bad, especially the one with George Clooney.

Too bad you'll lose to us again. Suckas! It doesnt matter how good you are, you choke and lose to us when we clearly play worse than you. I mean you could only beat us this season in shootouts using heatley. We have no snipers, just a solid team (when we play well). Unfortunetly when we played you, we played like shit and you still couldnt beat us in regulation time. I reiterate: suckas!

Thats awesome, i found out a few years ago that my parents lived in Coquitlam for a long time, and my brother and sister were born right near there.
