I look forward to hear what you all think. Fans who saw the summer previews were at war over what Joss did with the movie for weeks on end. The movie does give resolution to the series in many respects. In fact, it gives a lot more than anyone expected, I think. But there's a lot of potential for more movies, as is the plan if this one does well. Funny, funny movie. Can't wait to see it again. Joss Whedon and Matt Good. Two of my favourite things in the world. What a combination.

Till We Have Faces by C.S. Lewis is a pretty cool book. I read a lot of science fiction and fantasy and you know, *those sorts* of things... enjoy many but wouldn't pin any of them as being my all-time or close-to-all-time favourite.

Anyone else think these look pretty good? What trailers have you seen recently that have sparked your interest? I'll definitely be seeing these when they hit theatres. Yay Elijah Wood!

LOL Crusader don't spoil it for everyone. SPOILER (Highlight to View) But seriously, there was a singular moment when I thought to myself, "Oh god, they're all going to die." He's going to kill them all. Joss is great at making those moments, there were a number of them in this movie, and you honestly don't know what he's going to do.

Too many. Lots of TV on DVD. Earth2, Smallville, Dead Like Me, Joan Of Arcadia, Buffy, Angel, Firefly, ST:TNG, ST:TOS, some X-Files, Babylon 5, more... I should get one of them online list things for every time this topic comes up on a message board.

i rip dvds to make personal backup copies of my own dvds that i have purchased. yay. that way when my family members want to watch my dvds, they won't muck em all up.

Did anyone see the preview screenings of Serenity over the summer? I caught one here in Vancouver, BC. Based on the cancelled TV show Firefly, Serenity is THE FREAKING AMAZING movie of the fall season. It will beat you to the ground, kick you while you're down, and leave you for dead. And yes, that's a good thing. Having watched Firefly not required. Go see it when it opens this weekend. Bring your friends. It's a group-experience movie.

it's a really cool movie... but having no knowledge about ff7, i did find it lacking. i'm sure i will enjoy it more after i watch it many more times, as i plan to do because the animation is just so amazing. but i wish that square would have made another original movie like spirits within. even after i watch AC many more times, i'm sure i will still enjoy spirits within more.

yes it's a movie for kids but it's still fun. you have to agree that each movie got better. POA was heads and tails above the first two. it had so much more vision and scope. i look forward to GOF - it certainly helps that the actors are getting older and better as well. ooh thanks itchy for posting that newer trailer. that's intense!

as has long been said on this topic... the even #s are good, the odd #s are not so much. i just loved the floating blood in undiscovered country! i voted for voyage home though. so classic.

NAFL/Advertising were my favs. Would love a new version of Running For Home too... and too many others. Wonder how he possibly narrowed down which songs to do new versions of, surely he had workings for many more of them.

He's my favourite. His music is so well-crafted, it's definitely an inspiration.
