"Soft One" is a good tune and is getting a lot of airplay around Halifax anyway and I assume in other areas as well. The whole album is pretty good; it's called "Sweet Nothing". Pick it up if you have the chance.

They are a great group. 2nd CD is wicked and the first is even better. So many good tunes.

I think "The Discovery Channel Song" is pretty witty. I bet they had a lot of fun writing it and shooting for the video too. David Usher played part of it at the Halifax show he did back in May. Good times.

Yeah, he's probably my favourite but not by far. Definitely favourite lyricist, hands down. There are so many close seconds out there but there's something about his work that I just can't put down. I'm into a lot of different stuff though there is so much great music out there. I have a very diverse taste rock, classis rock, classical, techno, alternative, I even like some hip hop (although none would ever come close to being my favourite music). I don't get the fascination with the Beatles or Nirvana though. Never really did anything for me personally. Some Beatles songs are alright, John Lennon kicks ass. I love his material.

Emo? The music is very creepy and Matt sounds like a beatnik in it. I can practically hear him snapping his fingers and beating the bongos in his lap. I thought both NAFL and HTB were interesting reworked and sounded good to me but I did like the originals better. It might be a toss up for NAFL, probably would depend on my mood.
