In my quest to find new music, I decided to try these guys out. They aren't bad. Some songs really suck, but the good ones make up for that. I find it disappointing that they affiliate themselves with Fall Out Boy and Panic, but their music emphasizes piano and a unique singing style. I'm also surprised there isn't a topic about this.
East Vancouver is a bit dodgy...Some people got shot up in a drug dispute 3 houses down the street (I think someone had a Mac-10 or something because there was a shitload of bulletholes in the door, anyway...)
So we moved to North Vancouver, which is pro. Occasionally you get little douches with too much money and lots of drugs, with nothing better to do than go around gang-beating people. But as long as you're not walking around alone, late at night, around some Persian house party, you'll be Okay :/.
Cake is more special occasion, "I really can't deal with all this cream/frosting, but once, twice, three times, is Okay," kind of thing.
Pie, on the other hand, can be for breakfast, projects, dinner, makeup...The list is endless.
I really can't deal with all the heaviness of cake.
It was a pretty hilarious movie.
That one scene with "the drawing" made me laugh until I cried a bit.
This movie was great because they used unique jokes. Possibly because filmmakers never dared to take jokes that go this far.
You mean the amazingly sad aiming of the Japanese and the SAS style/speed aiming of the Americans?
(Learn to hit a giant flamethrower American please, if you had killed him in one shot there would be a lot less Hollywood drama).
The repeated phrases in Champions of Nothing made me want to shoot myself.
It beat Metric's 'Hustle Rose' annoying repetition of: "Now that your wallet is all lit up," phrase by a hundredfold.
I liked the demo Black Helicopter better as well.
