if you publicly state something about someone that may or may not be true, and/OR it somehow negatively affects their ability to secure financial growth presently or in the future, you are liable for a lawsuit. not saying thats what happened, but thats how easy it is.

Your Favorite Popsicle Flavour?
RicardoObviouso replied to Moonlight_Graham's topic in Open Discussion
are we talking actual popsicles here, or the knock off ones? I remember years ago having a TON of choice for flavors and now there's the three listed in the pole. I usually buy the 12 pack, and even though I used to LOVE orange, I think pink is my #1. if you buy the knock off brands, sometimes there's alternate flavors, but I prefer the taste and texture of the 'popsicle pete' ones. my gf calls me a popsicle afficionado -
ya dave was there with wife tamara.

desire, passion and genuine interest will get you a job in your field of choice, not necessarily the one at the top. in my sector, one needs accreditations to be legally employable in an actual advisory position. if you don't have that education, but possess desire passion and genuine interest, i will hire you, give you on the job experience and put you MILES ahead of the competition when/if you become chartered/certified. even if you don't, you'll still make $65-$90k a year. i've always known what i wanted and what i was good at. i just found a career that could harness those skills and get me the things i wanted in life. money is weird in that if you make enough of it in one place, it gives you the confidence to invest in other places, and most people with money feel something similar: power. they just mistake it for confidence. the difference between confidence and a perception of power is amazing success and total failure. i've known extremely successful people that thought since they'd accomplished so much in one aspect of business, they were experts on business as a whole, and could do no wrong. so i've tried my hardest to find opportunities that could be considered outside the box, or lucrative, or niche or all three, and put hundreds of hours of thought and research and analysis into it before i commit. so far it's worked.

i'm an employer and i'm likely the most financially successful person here. i didnt get to where i am by nitpicking do's, dont's and resumes to find the best people. unless you're left to work locked in a room by yourself, desire passion and genuine interest is going to get you farther than simply "knowing stuff", as any of those three attributes indicate just that at the most miniscule level. i haven't set foot anywhere near the offices of the companies i principal in over a year, and i haven't spoken to the people making the day-to-day decisions since february. these businesses are all successful beyond my wildest dreams and NO ONE there had a reference check or had to answer any retarded questions. you show me desire, passion and genuine interest and i will show you money. when it comes down to it, all these vastly available tips and tricks to surviving an interview really do is give the assessor the false impression of faculty, which in turn puts the candidate at a disadvantage. true decision makers don't need bells and whistles and question sheets that go on for miles.

everyone's the hero of their own story

i can't stand rain, and i tire of people quickly and easily so... go at it, bear.

fuck all of this. 100% of this crap can be found on google. apply to jobs that you are sincerely interested in, and everything else will take care of itself. if an employer senses true desire, passion and interest, they'll find a place for you in their company, regardless of experience and education.

i have a feeling that things aren't always as he makes them appear. same story every single time, different female lead.
