ok. we've got a hardcore matt good blowjob artist here. i'll tone it down. 1. it's true. not everyone can move on from things that happen in their life. but publicly beating a dead horse doesn't help matters. be a doll and allow me to rephrase my post in layman's terms for you: "move on artistically" -- how about that? how about taking what you've learned and moving forward? how about progressing your craft instead of regressing? how about putting a little bit more thought into something instead of presenting it as if you're an amateur songwriter looking to get some radioplay and embarassing your ex at the same time? 2. you're right. nothing has to be deep and vorbose. you're probably a buckcherry fan. i like the music. i like the bluntness of it. but when i want something deep and powerful and moving, i look for matt good on my twenty-three-hundred-song-deep playlist. given that matt is a proven musician noted for his lyrical depth, when he comes out and says "she's shitty in bed" straight up, in a song, he's doing two things: beating a dead fucking horse and using absolutely no artistic integrity to convey the message that he's 1. bitter and 2. see below 3. telling a world of people with whom have no business in knowing ones sexual tendencies that another person is bad in bed is absolutely immature. ESPECIALLY when that person singing the details was on the wrong end of a sexual affair. listen, i'm just as much of a fan of matt good and his attitude and his songwriting abilities and his performances etc as the next guy. i think you're above and beyond that, and i think it will be hard for you; but step back and understand from an open perspective that the lyrics to this song are fucking terrible and only prove that matt (here's 2.: ) found a winning formula for selling records in hospital music and is trying to use it again. ahh, that "tone it down" thing never works
-
so its true. the consumption of alcohol does lower one's standards.
-
fuck. maybe something a little deeper than "she wasnt that good in bed anyways" totally fucking immature. and for god's sake, what rockstar marries a chick whos bad in bed? seriously. he's bitter... we got that from the last album... move on.

jesus, i wish he'd get over it, already.

gold status is measured on an "either/or" basis. 50,000 units for album sales and 20,000 for digital downloads. i dont think matt has hit gold status for hospital music, although it sold something like 11.5 thousand units in the first week and i havent seen any other numbers after those. darktown is a promotion label. distribution is done through universal. two different businesses.

i dont care what you were talking about, i needed to get that off my chest and the timing seemed perfect.

a local drug dealer in ibiza told me once about weed; "every canadian i've ever talked to sells it smokes it or grows it"

well thats just it, i was so captivated by the sounds and the voice -- it drew me right in, and it ended up triggering some kind of anxiety. that of which i had never experienced before or after. totally weird. anyways...
-
i totally agree. i've only had one anxiety attack in my life and it came from listening to that album. it fucked me up a little the first few times i listened to it.

dan, i don't mean to be an asshole, but if you're in financial 'do do' right now... you shouldn't be thinking about buying a home. but that's just the financial analyst in me trying to help. as for your dilemma; if going to the movies or out for dinner makes you feel better than ownership of a rare item: do it. i specialize in wealth management, and one of the most common things i say and hear around my office is that 'spending money makes you feel good', so go get a taste of it and it will encourage you to make more of it.

i've been dreaming of elizabeth hurley alot lately.
-
yes i did. but that commercial is so good i don't mind seeing it over and over. it gives kfed so much credibility as a performer. anyone willing to poke fun at themselves is cool in my books. anton.... the first 3 seconds of that video were the best.

bingo. the costs of hiring a band, extra crew members and touring their gear around the country far outweighs the costs of touring as a solo acoustic show. considering the ticket prices dont fluxuate with regards to the type of tour, there's more money in matt's pocket at the end of a solo run.

elastic band. gum is rubber too, isnt it?
