i dreamt i owned a retail store that sold outdoor performance clothing, but there was a problem with the building. the pipes burst in the walls and tons of foam started filling up the room. i ran out of there and got into a sweet porsche convertible and took off. i was driving like crazy but didn't realize the car had a manual transmission so i kept hitting the limiter. when i returned to the building i saw a guy who used to work for me smash a hole in the wall, go up into the ceiling then drop into my 'store' and steal a bunch of my products. then he admitted to it, returned it all and the dream was over.

i just got row 4 left centre with the "front of the line" option. buuuut, i just realized that the show is at the end of june and my girlfriend will be 8 months pregnant, so we'll see if we actually go.

which is awesome. i tried a bunch of variations to try to get the best tickets possible and it seemed the only way to get decent seats in the centre section was to buy a block of 8... which only means that ticketmaster is catering to scalpers by offering them the best seats. i'll either wait until the general public sale starts and see if it opens the good sections or i'll make the call.

as much as i don't like the power tripping that police sometimes pull, you have to remember that they are an authority. some demand a higher level of respect than others, some just want to identify with the youth. to each their own. they're human and they've all gone through the same testing to be in that position. they all have a role in the community. for ever cop that pours out your booze on friday night, there's one who turns a blind eye. for every driver that gets nailed for not using his turn signal theres one that gets away without so much as a warning. all officers demand a certain level of respect, some will not tolerate being called 'dude'. if you want the cops to stay off your back and not give you a hard time, set the tone by showing them what they want to see. everyone has the ability to make a good first impression using their best judgement as you are not the one in control ALL THE TIME.

hold on.... how will the steam escape from the pot if i put the glass bowl in it? tracy, i heard about the water touching the chocolate (thanks for confirmation) but i also heard that the water cant even touch the bottom or sides of the bowl... is this true?

I'm trying to make chocolate covered strawberries. i bought a bag of Manjari 64% baking chocolate (thomas haas said it was damn good) and it came in chunks about an 1" long, 1/2" wide and a 1/8" thick. i've searched google for a good metheod of melting this chocolate so i can dip strawberries into it, but they all seem hard to follow. if anyone here has done it before and has a set of decent, easy-to-follow instructions... please post them here. thanks.
