If you've got extras let me know closer to the show. I've got the day off anyway, so if you've got 2 extras I'll meet you there and buy them from you if you want.

I could still go to London or Kitchener but I think they're both all ages. I'd rather be at a 19+ show. We are thinking about flying out to Vancouver for the last show and seeing him there. Neither of us have ever been out that way and it would be cool to see the last show. Still, if anyone has tickets for T.O let me know.

The show is now sold out. I know this cause I went to buy tickets yesterday and I was very dissapointed to hear there arn't any left. Does anyone have 2 extra tickets???????????

That's how it's always been......isn't it??

I agree completely and voted for tripoli also. The new Hello Time Bomb is starting to get stuck in my head already. Really well done.

I think both versions are good in their own way. I think I prefer the acoustic version too.

I've already said it but I'm gonna say it again, The acoustic songs are amazing. Tripoli and Strange Days are standing out for me and I love the way Hello Time Bomb and North American for Life are changed so much and are so incredible. Only thing I'm not 100% happy with is the ending of Advertising on Police cars. The way his voice goes up at the end of the origional when he says "baby don't get out of bed just...." and then his voice at the very end of the song after that is my favorite part of that song.-and he took that out. Still done very well though. Prime Time Deliverance is very different but growing on me very quickly.

unfortunatly I'm stuck at work untill 11 pm so I still havn't seen the DVD nor have I read the liner notes. However, my boss has left and I happened to have my CD player here with me. I have to say the acoustic CD is just incredible. I've heard each song about 3 times now and the stuff I was'nt sure how I felt about in the beginning has now graduated to some of the best MG ever. I wish there was more songs played acoustic. I'm sure most here share that feeling. Amazingly well done.

I havn't watched the DVD yet but I listened to the acoustic CD twice this morning and it is amazing. Tripoli and Strange days both gave me chills. My only complaints are (and I really shouldn't complain) what was said before. It feels a bit weird to have a greatest hits without Carmelina on it. I also felt the ending of the acoustic version of Advertising on Police Cars was a bit of a let down because I love his voice in the origional. Other than that I think it is the best CD I have ever owned or will ever own. If Matt reads this I recommend an acoustic CD with every new CD that comes out.

I think too many bands are mostly concerned with making money. Which is fine and understandable and a lot of good music comes from that. But it is good to see artists that have more depth and pay attention to the world and try to make a difference. Not only do I think Matts music is some of the best ever made, but I respect him so much more because of what he sings about and what he stands for.

That's amazing. I can't wait for the acoustic CD!

More for me. Just thought I'd offer.

It must suck for you to think that many of us are going to see him soon. Any chance you'll make the drive to come see him? I'll meet up with you before the show and smoke a big fat one if you're interested.
-
We can pre-drink at my place! Then we can car-pool. It'll be great! My girlfriend can drive cause she won't be drinking cause she's breastfeeding. We should make a sign that says "I love Matt Good" and you can hold one side and I'll hold the other! On second thought, I don't wanna make mrs. jesus jelous and hang out with you before she does so maybe we should call the whole thing off.

a new flashing light with what sounds like acoustic Generation X-wing is up on inacoma.ca. Sounds pretty cool.
-
I'll be there.

SNAP!!!!

The regular version is only a greatist hits CD. Thats it. The Delux is a three disk package. One disk being the greatest hits CD, the second is acoustic stuff plus b-sides and rarities, the third is the DVD with all his videos plus a bunch of other shit. To sum it up I think most of us want to get the delux version.

You might not want to stay in an apartment with a newborn baby waking you up every few hours. It might be worth it though to see Matt Good. Have either of you ever seen him live?
-
I feel spoiled that I have the opportunity to see Matt a couple times a year. His performances out do his albums. Does anyone else have the urge to drive down and pick up mrs. jesus and AliceIntoThePavement and bring them to a show?
